APPROVING BANK: Bank of America
BUREAU PULLED: Equifax
CREDIT SCORE 669
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: Ohio
NEW/USED Used
YEAR OF VEHICLE 2007
MILEAGE 120K
RETAIL/LEASE Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN $15,000
ADVANCE PERCENTAGE 125% (not sure what this means, but it said I could finance 145% of car... or it could have been 125%)
TERM CONTRACTED 72 mo or 60 mo
APR/LEASE RATE 4.79 or 4.04% Went with 72 month :)
MONTHLY PAYMENT $275
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Thought FICO was higher, CK FAKO for EQ was (before hard inquiries) 724 and TU FAKO 734 while Experian FICO08 708, was hoping they'd pull Exp. but still very happy with this loan. We went to dealer and they would not come down on price of vehicle, (we needed $15,000 out the door ,ie. all fees included) They offered to see if they could get better rate through their bank (United Federal Credit Union) They MATCHED the BofA loan, and rolled price back to $15,000 and we drove our "new to us" baby home this evening! I am now a NEW member of United Federal Credit Union, another financial institution I think will be good to have a good relationship with. (The dealership and UFCU also pulled EQ) Bank of America ROCKS though. They have been cool about giving good limit on CC and CLI's every 3-4 months. Once again I am Very Happy with this Loan. 8 years ago I couldn't get a personal loan or a credit card, I did get a 19% car loan (highway robbery, but I needed a car) that I was finally able to pay off in 2010. Since 2012 I now have/have had a Mortgage, Personal Loan, RV loan, 3 credit cards including AMEX (never dreamed I'd have that one) and now a Car Loan. Bless you CreditBoards!!!

Just for information sake, we were told by BofA could not finance 11 year or older car, and had to be under 125K mileage. Even our car guy said he wasn't sure we could get loan with 120K mi.

MONTHLY PAYMENT $441
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Applied for a 2017 chrysler pacifica touring L plus at 45k msrp. Approved for tier 2 (the 2nd best tier level). I do not plan on leasing this minivan until mid may, when rates should drop and incentives and residuals should improve. Dealers are telling me that NO ONE in interested in Leasing these. Thats good news, as the market will dictate ccap/fca to artificially inflate the residuals to make the lease more attractive :)

Also, I have a couple dozen lates from student loans and only 9 months of car history but was able to get approved for a 2nd car; no trade in required ;)

    MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:

I traded in a 2010 Maxima with 145,000 miles that I was about $7,000 upside down on (still owed around $15,000). I was shocked that I qualified for .9 percent interest through NMAC. The dealer worked some numbers and got me into a brand new Altima. It was explained that it's easier to roll negative equity into a new car vs. a used one. I had to carry over a lot of that negative equity from the Maxima, but knowing almost all my monthly payment is now going toward principle (old loan was about 8% through NFCU) helps my state of mind. I'll of course have to keep the car 3-4 years but that's fine. Oh, and about $11/mo of that is GAP insurance.

APPROVING BANK: GM Finance
BUREAU PULLED: Equifax
CREDIT SCORE: 580
CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE: Texas
NEW/USED: New
YEAR OF VEHICLE: 2016 Silverado 1500 Double Cab - Red Hot
MILEAGE: 7
RETAIL/LEASE: Retail
AMOUNT OF LOAN: $33,280
ADVANCE PERCENTAGE Not sure
TERM CONTRACTED: 72 months
APR/LEASE RATE: 10.95%
MONTHLY PAYMENT: $631
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Was upside down on my trade-in by $11,400.00. I had $9,000 down-payment to help with the negative equity. I wasn't able to get the Colorado that I wanted, but the Silverado was doable due to more rebates going on right now. MSRP: ~ $35,000. Drive out price with Extended 5 year B2B warranty and GAP insurance - $33,280.00. My interest rate on my trade-in was 11.5% - this new loan got me down to 10.9%. The dealership ended up losing money on the truck (which was made back up with GM Coupons) to get me in a vehicle and meet the requirements for financing. Great salesman and dealership!
