APPROVING BANK: Volkswagon/Audi Financial (Dealership beat the rate of my blank check)

BUREAU PULLED: TU (only pulled TU as far as I can see)

CREDIT SCORE 746 Auto Enhanced

CUSTOMER STATE OF RESIDENCE CA

NEW/USED Used - Certified Pre-Owned

YEAR OF VEHICLE 2012

MILEAGE 8,541

RETAIL/LEASE Retail

AMOUNT OF LOAN $15,750 approved, ($5,750 down, so only financed $10k - not required to put down payment, but $5k down to avoid GAP insurance & lower payment)

ADVANCE PERCENTAGE n/a

TERM CONTRACTED 60 mo.

APR/LEASE RATE 2.99%

MONTHLY PAYMENT $ $183.22

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: 2nd "open" auto loan (car for wife, only utilizing my credit). Paid/Released Tax Lien from 9/2012, 11% utilization on credit cards, and zero lates on any past-present auto-loans / credit cards showing on credit report. Brought in a blank check approval for 4.19% from my Bank, and the VW Dealership beat the rate at 2.99% (no money down required), and did not even question anything. Did not apply joint because wife's credit is still rebuilding, income is over $100k, no income verification required.

BTW: Capital one declined me (letter in mail says because of self-employment) - Lol, I guess that even with a 746 FICO they DO NOT FINANCE AUTO LOANS if you are "Self-Employed". In the end I think they got the short end of the stick, and I'm happy with VW/Audi Financial (Applied at Dealer)

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Finally approved with them. Was trying for PenFed but they came back with pyramiding of debt and on recon said the same thing. I don't agree and looking at my file it makes no sense to me. But... I know they are super conservative. It did take forever with DCU though... Big thanks to Equifax bumpage on this one. Only baddie is a 2011 settlement that still has wrong information and is disputed. Other than that I have 8 positives TLs and a 7 year history with a 2 year AAOA.

Pretty sure I got the shaft but as my scores improve, I plan on refinancing the car in a few years. Traded in my 3 with 1800 in negative equity to Chase Bank. Dealer gave me 1000.00 in incentive cash and only 2500 for the trade.

APPROVING BANK Hyundai Motor Acceptance
BUREAU PULLED EX
CREDIT SCORE 640 (579 co-applicant)

MILEAGE 22,000
RETAIL/LEASE RETAIL
AMOUNT OF LOAN 24,039
ADVANCE PERCENTAGE
TERM CONTRACTED 60 months
APR/LEASE RATE 7.29%
MONTHLY PAYMENT $521
MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY:
Repo with CapOne in 2011, paid this month but not yet reported. Multiple small unpaid charge-offs and a $4500 CA account in dispute at time of application (probably accounts for the higher credit score). Toyota turned us down but Santander approved at 9.54% for $32k with 0 Down. Was able to do 100% finance with 0 down for a 2012 Hyundai Sonata Limited with leather, navigation, sunroof, bells, whistles and more! Never thought we'd be approved but applying online to Santander and then telling the dealership we had financing already pushed them to make it work. Was initially approved at 8.59% but after purchasing a wrap-around 10 year/100k mile warranty, they were able to drop APR another 1.5%. Plan to refi with Hyundai in 6 months and double on payments in between due dates to gain some equity.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: I HONESTLY thought I could NOT get approved with a poor credit score like mine. I didn't intend to get a car that day, I just wanted to know what would happen if I tried to apply. So, I went to Roadloans.com and submitted to see what they would offer. When I presented it to the dealer, they re-ran the app to other lenders to get me a better deal. I have a foreclosure (due to drop off in July 2013), a repo (from 2006 secheduled to drop off in September), 5 collections totaling over $3000, and student loans in default. Yeahhhhh right lolol.....Anyways, the positive thing was I bought a car from a BHPH (buy here pay here) lot that was financed in 2007 and only had 2 lates reporting and a personal line of credit from my bank 2 years ago. That's it...no other positive lines of credit....I have NO credit cards so my score sucks BUT I am looking to improve my score by 100 points in the next 6 months with the (collection) baddies all falling off by next year. :clapping: I hope to refi with my bank soon..not sure if I should wait 6 months or 24 months.

APPROVING BANK: Chrysler Capital (They are newly established. website not even going to be officially up until may 1st!)

TERM CONTRACTED: 72 Months
APR/LEASE RATE: 15.21 %

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: Went to the dealership late thursday night to take a look at a car I saw they had online (2013 Dodge Dart Limited - Special Edition with every available option except TECH). out of every dealer within 150 mile radius was the only with the car that I want. I test drove it, played with it, loved it. I had brought my own financing through roadloans with apr of 15.47. They told me even if I had my own financing, I still needed to fill out a credit app on their paperwork. So I did. got a call today saying the price on the website list all available rebates and I don't quality for all of them. with what I own on the current car $7500 and what my car is worth $1500. I would be severely upside down. They tried to get me to "work with them" and get another vehicle with more rebates like the avenger. I said don't worry bout it and wasn't going to buy a car just cause it fits "my situation" cause I'm only going to hate it and want to get rid of it 6 months down the road. they clearly wanted to sell this car and refused to let me just walk away. they said they'll call me back which they did and came back with an approval from Chrysler Capital! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was in shock. they said it was a one day deal and would have to come in today to do it. Luckily I took the day off from work so I shot over to the dealership. they looked at the car, signed the papers, cleaned out old car, loaded up new car and was on my way. Oh and structured into the deal I got a 10 year 100k warranty that pretty much extends the bumper to bumper warranty to 100k backed by chrysler and 5 year of free OIL Changes! 100 dollar deductible on repairs.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTARY: 2nd loan I got with Capital One Blank check in past 7 months. My interest rate on this loan is 4.02% less then my first loan. Both times been approved for max $30,000 amount they allow for used vehicles. I currently have 2 auto loans a Personal CC ($3,000 limit) and Business CC ($5,500) all with Capital One 8 months from a discharged BK7. I can say they have been very easy to deal with and seem to have acceptable interest rates for someone less then 1yr out of BK
