My assistant accidently reversed the mailing of Uline and Nebs - She sent my payment to Uline for Nebs and vice versa. Now they are 5 days late - what can I do?

my suggestion would be to call them. I haven't walked in your shoes but I think at least by letting the vendor know you are aware if not verrry concerned about this oversight they won't be so quick to judge. Again I haven't had that bad luck yet so take my advice with a grain of salt

I'd call them both- maybe even pay by credit card or check by phone. were you five days past the due date, or five days after you got the bill?

I ask because you should be paying the bills as early as possible even before the due date- this will raise your paydex.

Doubtful. Very rarely has anyone here obtained anything above a "Prompt" from any of the usual suspects- even when paying before invoice has cut.

Yes, its a good idea to pay bills way before they are due and theoretically you could be over 80, but rarely does it happen- at least with the usual accounts most of us have.

Out of all the mentioned net30s on the board. Uline is the only one that allows you to pay the invoice online; everyone else you must call to pay the invoice. You can even pay it the day after it ships. Really hard to be late. Checks are out-of-date in this age. Use checks as the last payment option. Pay your invoices with your credit/debit card.

I really think your going to get late payments on your reports. Call and talk to their credit departments.

Good luck and I wish the best. If they do report late, when you get a paydex it will be lower than 80 but problably not by much....78 maybe.
