The city next to mine is approx. 100,000, give or take. Not too small. None of the theaters are showing it. According to The Teenage Son, it's because the movie is "too political" for them, so he heard. :) F-ing rubes! And they wonder why the rest of the country doesn't think midwesterners are 'worldly'.

it is not because of politics. FOX decided to only release it in about 800 theatres. there was a concern that the internet hype would not match moving going demand. expect it to be on a couple thousand screens in a few days...

I had heard that the number of screens was purposely limited, but you'd think a city of this size, which is also the 2nd largest city in the state, would have had one of them.

It is being shown in the next city down, about 20 miles down the road, so my SO and I are planning to see it Tuesday evening.

It's funny but honestly I could have waited for it to go to DVD...there is one scene which guys are prob going to be uncomfortable with...but I was too busy LMAO....if British comedian Cohen is as successful with his next movie "Bruno" he'll be one of the few British comedians that have successfully crossed over the pond...

I'm going to have to leave this thread alone. Y'all are gonna ruin it for me before I get to see it.

well...two drinks and two tickets (afternoon at a $2 discount each) cost us $25. most of the best jokes are on videoas posted online. I liked the movie but for the money I wish I would have waited for netflix. $25 is more than we spend a month on netflix <_<
