I just closed on July 14th, man was it fast and easy. No the hard part, cleaning, painting and updating.

That's the big thing that's weighing on me...I haven't packed a thing :dntknw: I have to clean the new house, paint/wallpaper there, pull out carpet, install laminate flooring while the contractor is there working on the fence and garage...THEN move everything in...THEN clean & paint THIS place ugh...

LOL I didn't say for sure I was going to change, just that my deed will be ready to record, and my loan funded before then...so I COULD! It's only 2 days, I'd rather just wait them out and not rush people anyway. I don't like stress, want the energy to be positive and easy going :)

I'm still having a hard time getting motivated to pack and the movers are coming at the end of the month. I have been moving a lot of little stuff myself. And last weekend I rented a 10 foot UHaul, stuffed it full and unloaded it at my new place. I STILL have tons of crap not to mention the big furniture and tv. :( I don't know how I have accumulated so much crap considering I live alone. I'm getting rid of a lot of stuff but I just don't have the time to go through it as much as I'd like to right now. So I guess it's moving to the house with me for the time being. :good:

Closing tomorrow at 11.

I haven't packed a thing yet.

I hate to move, what was I thinking? I don't think I want to do this anymore!

Well, I can't sleep.

I have to leave in 3 hours anyway, though. I guess I can take a nap after closing at the new house (more like in my van in the driveway because there's nothing in the new house LOL)

Well the appraisal came back lower than expected.

Which turned out to be a blessing in disguise, b/c the agent/owner agreed to lower the price of the house by 5k pay our closing costs and carpet allowance. We have to resign papers today for the lowered loan amount and wait 2-3 bus days (aka next week) for closing.
