I enjoy this site, thanks for all the info. But here is one thing that I find very odd, I can never see my posts, I never recieve a reply, and I am striked off from nearly everything in here. How long does a newbiee suffers? We want to roll with the "Big Dogs" too. :)

Hey, im kinda sorta new. Actually, I have another screen name but I forgot what it was so I'm starting over again. My plan is to stay focused and be debt free in 2yrs 3tops(cause something always comes up)I've already start attacking my bills and have everything in a spreadsheet. By my 40th bday (in 4yrs) i hope to have enough $$ for a vacation/retirement home.

If you want me to find your old account, email admin at creditboards dot dom.

Hello everyone !

Just found this site today and I am soooo excited about getting my credit back on track ! My goals are to get my credit back on track and to get my business name incorporated. Ultimate goal is to have a good track record on both the business and personal side. Will try to figure out later how to get my scores posted with my signature (will make me feel like i have SEVERAL accountability partners). Good luck everyone and lets do this ! B)

Hello All

Thank you for all the info on this massive board. I read fast and I'm going to be here for a long time. Just beginning the rebeginning of the trek for good credit my hubby and I have been on for a while.

I have always been a debtaphobe and it has ended up taking a big toll on my credit as I have not understood what I should be doing rather than just what I shouldn't be doing.

I'm sure you'll all here more about me and my situation as we go thru this process but hi and thanks.

LJ <_<

I have been reading the posts here for almost 3 months now. I just want to say thank you to everyone here for making such a difference in my life! Because of this board I went from no credit/bad credit to almost 20,000 in credit. I have read and worked very hard on my credit since May (sent DV's and had some CA deleted, got an old paid tax lien deleted, and applied for and received credit) Just this week I applied for and was approved for Penfed 8,000 CC and a 5,000 PLOC.

Thank you so much everyone here

A big fat thank you to PsychoDoc for his wonderful series on Credit Repair. I've had a lot of questions answered just from reading those scripts! :good:

This is my my first comment. I've been reading for a while now. I started by getting some incorrect address removed.

I couldn't get an address that I never lived at removed because it was attached to a request for credit history. I don't understand this. I never lived at this address so shouldn't both items be deleted?

I would like to say "Hello" first of all. I stumbled across this site quite a while ago (I think it was at least a few years, don't remember) I know that I was still in college had too much going on in my life. But I was smart enough to jot down the website and my login name and password. While I was looking through some documents on my Palm I ran across it again. I came back to see what I had signed up for and am glad I did. I hope to learn lots while reading more in the coming days/months. Thanks again for all the info so far.

PS Breeze I like the picture you attach to your posts. I have something quite similar as a motivation for getting my credit under control and saving/investing for the future.

Hi,

Sorry, if i missed it in FAQ or somewhere else...but how does PM function work?

When I try to send a message, I get:

"You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board"

Any hints?

Thanks!

newbies (those that have not "graduated" to member status) can't PM....it's designed to protect the users from the CAs and others that lurk here...

after a certain number of posts, you'll have PM access...

but even after you get PM access...do NOT give ANY personal data to anyone...do NOT pay to have someone help you....

Hello,

I'm new here. GREAT info. I have a few questions about 1 or 2 medical collections that I can't seem to shake, hopefully someone can help me with in the future. Just getting used to the site, browsing and reading all I can. As of now my Fico EQ is 651. Hopefully I can get into the 7's soon!!!
