I used to belong to Creditman's first creditboard, until they started using creditreportrights, and I hopped over to that one instead. I more of lurked here during that time frame, and asked a few questions.

Then I sorta strayed from the path, and now I've begun to walk on it again.

I witnessed my co-worker tackle his credit and improve his score by 150 points in just about six months. I think I'm smarter than he is, so I decided to give it a shot. Voila! up 75 points since March and going strong.

Note: I would tell you my co-worker's screen name but it would break his heart to find out that I think I'm smarter than he is. In his mind, I worship the ground he walks on...nice.

Note: Who's your co-worker????

I followed a link someone posted at a real estate investment board.

Best two things I believe I've ever found on the web... Except for those pictures of that one famous actress where she was... I mean except for charitible organizations to help starving children and stuff. Yeah, that's what I meant to say.

 kinda stumbled into it...while trying to learn more about credit. I'm very glad I found it. I've only been twice and am learning so much. I think I will now be able to reach my goal. Thank you..

I actually joined this board months ago....but a person I knew from another board begged me and pleaded with me to join their board. My area of expertise is bankruptcy. Bankruptcy is not a popular topic and most people know nothing about it...even people who have filed it.

The bk laws differ from state to state and from Federal Circuit to Federal Circuit. So what might be true in one person's case most likely will not be the same for another.

So I will start posting here and hope I'm treated better than I was there given all the time and effort I put in for them.

I actually did a search on "creditboards"....thinking there had to be a forum of others such as myself in need of a place to vent and share ideas....the best search I ever did....THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP I'VE RECEIVED.....

I found this board after hours and hours of searching the internet. I am having a bit of a financial crisis after becoming disabled after a work-related injury in late 2002.

I wanted to learn my rights after several unpleasant dealings with nasty OCs and now CAs.

I've been lurking for months now and reading posts that are applicable to my situation.

This is my first post but I have already put into use several principles that I have learned by reading this board. I wish that I had found CB a few years earlier...better late than never. :8)

After seeing and responding to a popup ad "Get your free credit report"

So I did.. Jumped on the internet after getting it and googled for credit repair on "boards". Thanks for being in cyberspace

Ok here is my first post and I am relieved that I stumbled across creditboards.com. I stumbled across this site from fatwallet.com, (forum: Financial section). I've been reading the board for about 2 hours before registering and all I can say is wow. I am thankful for who ever created this message board. Oh and btw, /me stands up. "Hi I'm Eric, and I have bad credit" /me sits back down. I now have some help to regain control of my credit.

Not able to vote either...

I found you guys while trying to find a correlation between average FICO scores and mortgage ratings (C, B, A, AA...). I'm curious like that even though I know I haven't a snowball's chance in hell but *shrug*

You guys are awesome. I had avoided my CR for well over a year because I knew it was going to be BAD. Thanks for the encouragement!

I found you guys through another board relating to bankruptcy. I am so glad I did! I lurked for a long time and have learned so much. Starting to put everything I've (hopefully :? ) learned to use in just the last several weeks. I love this board!

I found this board through another money message board. I had a pressing question about credit repair. I posted my question on msn board. I got 20 replies. The first 19 responses were people berating me for getting into financial trouble in the first place and telling me that I cannot repair all the "damage that I caused". One person wrote "you made all this debt, didn't repay and now you want to erase what you've done???" This person obviously didn't read my original post.

Anyway the last response was from a very nice guy, telling me how knowledgeable you guys are and he was RIGHT! He didn't mention how NICE you all are!

Many Thanks!

I found this board several weeks ago. I learned a lot from reading the posts. New at this and really don't know the rules. Bankrate.com is very good too. Creditboards more informative. I like this very much.[/url]
