I was on another credit report forum (which shall remain nameless, but rhymes with MyFIDO lol)....

On more than one occasion I was admonished for asking about or sharing "creative" ways to rebuild from past credit mistakes. Although frowned upon, it is certainly not illegal to use technicalities and/or exploit inefficiencies within the CRB's and other related entities; and my posts focused on that. About half the time I'd get snarky replies and the other half I just heard crickets.

So I started asking DuckDuckGo (my preferred search engine) my questions verbatim, and this site would always be in the results...and the results had answers! Wish I had found this site first, I'd be so much further ahead in my credit goals!

Thanks for welcoming me into the community and I look forward to being an active and helpful member!

Repairing. Going to use acronyms.

Started on CK, led me to MF, led me to here. Forum name is my unofficial "credit repair" call sign. I kept the same name for all credit based forums as absorbing all this new legalese is troubling enough.

I've gotten the cojones to post my first question so it is improper to not at least say Hi.

Back to the shadows in fixing my mistakes! Not comfortable posting here but filled with admiration and thanks for the compilation of information presented here for the public.

I'll post when I have a significant enough question that hasn't been answered. That's something that will be a rarity given the forums date back to 2003? And THIS place, CreditBoards has guided me to achieve more in 1 month alone over the 5 months I've been surfing the net on learning terminology, definitions and accurate reporting on credit reports. Each site has their niche, THIS site is fabulous in education on rebuilding.

The article from PsychDoc has been the most beneficial.

Welcome to the forum. I can tell you from my experience that no matter what your question, people here will treat you with respect and try there best to help you. There is so much knowledge here and everyone is nice and trying to help. My dad always told me that the only dumb question is the one not asked so do what I do and ask away.

Again, welcome and look forward to reading your success story :)

Being an educator, that is my philosophy on questions too. I also believe that if YOU have a question, odds are there are others out there with the same one

Hi!!!

First off, I am so grateful that I found this post. Started with Credit Karma, then Quizzle which led to here. After making so many wrong choices, it was time to start doing the right thing. I am not new to credit; but am new to the "New Beginnings."lol. I have read numerous praise reports and I am so excited to be able to learn more. Thanks again!!!!
