I was considering BK in 2008. Started googling, found CB July 7, 2008 (still have the TU and EX reports I printed that night from annualcredtreports.com) and I've been lurking on and off ever since with a goal to clear my debt. Finally created an account a few months ago since I had planned on creating a 'thank you' thread as my scores are hovering at about 700+/- and asking for some advice on how to proceed, but I think I figured it out through further lurking.

Hello CB and all members... I found this site looking to rebuild my credit. I have a very low credit score/bad credit. Can someone tell me how this site can help me. I'm still figuring how to navigate the site, still trying to learn the lingo/acronyms. I've read a couple posts and feel that there is a lot of good things i can learn from this site and its members. Where do i start? I have also started a new LLC and need help building its credit. I need all the help and tips i get. Looking forward to your insights. TIA :search::dntknw:

Hello all...I found the board years ago, but just got really serious about credit repair about 6 weeks ago...I started with my scores in the low to mid 500s and today I just broke the 600 barrier on EQ with info I found here, the other two are in the high 500s now...I made a journey post and didn't get much feedback, but it seems that most Vets and the credit elite will chime in after someone has done the basics and grunt work and I can respect that...just thought I would formally introduce myself....Happy Sunday!!

You got responses! I think the problem comes up when you put too much info into one post. Start with the medical anyway. Don't do anything else when you're working on the medical.

I found the CB some years back. I was looking to repair my credit and ordered an ebook on some website. And for an additional $25 I would get access to the most valuable resource on the web for repairing credit... the website was CreditBoards... and its been worth every penny!!

Hello! I found this forum doing some research on getting a car loan. It's a really well done website! My credit score used to be horrendous (a little south of 500), but now it's in the low 600's. I'm getting there!

I do have one question, particularly for MarvBear. Can anyone explain the "Application for MarvBear" posts? I was trying to find a pinned topic discussing it, but was unable to find one.
