Apped for Lowes after reading about generous CLIs from them. (not to mention TU pull). Got the, call 800 number for additional review, message and initially approved for $1300. bleh. Called backdoor a couple hours later and spoke to some very nice lady from overseas about increasing to $25k. After a few minutes of reviewing my CR, "Unfortunately, we can ONLY approve you for $12k." Darn! haha Next goal, get back in with AMEX.

I went there to again put in a dispute on my only former address, and it is giving me the "Information does not match" message (now) and I am still waiting for the address to fall off.. I hope it will, as I made it the only item in my "dispute summary." has this happened to anyone else?

I've been locked out of the backdoor for a couple years now, which is fine. What bothers me is that every time I write TU to request an investigation, 100% of the time I get a letter back stating "Here is the copy of your credit report as requested" (Emphasis mine). I even send them a new letter stating what they did the last time was unacceptable and I am not requesting a report, but to open an investigation and even submit support documents. I opened a case with the CFPB, I'll let everyone know how that turns out. But how am I supposed to request an investigation when I can't dispute online or by mail? Has this happened to anyone else?

As you know TU requires you to create an online account to begin the dispute process. I disputed my old addresses online. Well, I was notified by TU via email that the dispute was resolved and I could review the results. Well now, the result is all that I see. I can no longer access my report in a way where I can dispute additional information. I've called TU to no avail and have yet to get an explaination and have been guided by the rep(s)to just dispute over the phone. Any clues?

So, a few days ago I stumbled upon the wondrous information in the credit pulls section of this site and started researching various cards. Based on this research, and recent looks at FAKO scores, I applied for and was approved for an Amex Green account. Then yesterday an Amex DSM with a 2k limit, I don't know which CRA they pulled though. I currently have 4 accounts with Cap one with low limits and since I haven't requested a CLI recently on any of them I decided to check. I was denied so I started checking through the posts here and I've gone through the sea of posts about backdoor s and see mixed posts in regard to cap one. It seems they changed there policies some time ago and was wondering if anyone has recently gotten results with any of the following numbers: Cap1: 800-625-7866 (Account Specialist) Cap1: 800-951-6951 (cust. relations) Cap1: 800-548-4593 (application status - automated only) Cap1: 800-889-9939 or 800-625-7866.(Account Specialist) Cap1: 877-513-9959 (Account Retention?) Cap 1: 800-707-0489 (Senior Escalation Account Mgrs.)

Greetings fellow credit restorators! I have opted out via this link provided by Master Why Chat (lol) https://www.optoutprescreen.com/?rf=t I printed that form, signed, dated, and mailed it. Is that proper protocol ? Have I opted out or should I then send the letter provided by PrivacyRightsNow to all my creditors? If the answer to that is yes - I mail those letters regular mail to the billing address i have for them? How long do i then wait to mail the address correction letters to the CRA's? & last question (I think) is are the following the correct addresses for the CRA's? These are the ones that are listed when I pulled my report from annualcreditreport.com. Transunion - Fraud Victim Assistance Unit , PO Box 6790, Fullerton, CA 92834-6790 Equifax - Equifax Information Services LLC, PO BOX 105167, Atlanta GA 30348 Experian - NCAC, PO Box 9701, Allen, TX 75013 Oh no that isn't the last question - I am correct that the NJ SOL for medical disputes is 4 years? I've been reading these forums for a few months now & I can't seem to figure out what the term back door means.
