  1. What should we do? The original approval was for $5k, I then called a couple of days later for recon and they approved it for $7k. However, our account screen is showing 2 different accounts and the cards that came in the mail today was that of the $5k account number. Do you think I will receive the other account number also? Should I call to try to have the accounts merged for a total of $12k? Or will they just shut one down if I make that request?
  2. I recently received my Nordstom Visa Signature (bin number starting: 414721). It's not being verified by THREE Visa Signature promotion sites that each state the following: https://visa.clearme.com/signature# 1. Enter your 16-digit Visa Signature card number to verify you're eligible for this Visa Signature CLEAR offer. http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/offers/shows/amaluna/visa/san-jose-on-sale-visa-signature-coissuer.aspx 2. 3. One of my cards, the BOA visa signature currently runs an offer on balance transfer and I wanted to move about $7000 to that card. The credit limit is not reported by BOA (Currently 15K) but card reports maximum past balance and minimum payment amount. The question is - how my FICO is going to be affected if I transfer balance to this Visa Signature card. Will new balance become "hidden" from FICO algorithms or total utilization is going to be calculated based on maximum past balance that is reported (that would be strange). Anybody can help and clarify? Thank you!
  4. Greetings All, Well... I just don't know what to say.. Navy Federal has brought a tear to my eye tonight. This all started about 13 months ago where as part of my credit repair I opened a Secured nRewards Visa for 2k. Six months into this I raised the deposit and thus the credit limit to 5k, and then 8 months in up to 10k. In each case there was no credit pull for an increase, just the additional deposit. At 12 months on the mark, they automaticly released the 10k on hold in my share account and unsecured the card. I did not request this, heck, I did not even know until I logged
  5. Greetings All, Well, I had a nice suprise from NFCU the other day. They automaticly unsecured my nReweards Secured Visa after exactly 1 year. I opened this account with a $2000 deposit, at 6 months, I upped it to $5000, and at 9 months, I upped it to $10,000. When they unsecured it they left the full $10,000 credit line in tact. To add to it I called and asked if there was any way I could convert it to the Flagship Rewards Visa Signature card as I travel internationally a great deal and it was done right on the spot with nothing but a soft pull (verified) to determine the interest
