  1. I have had a Checking/Savings with PSECU for a couple of years now. In January I applied for the combo and was denied. Also, my account had gone dormant (never added money into my account since opening) and before applying, I had to apply for my account to be taken out of dormancy and also applied for deposit through external account feature. I was able to reactivate my account and I deposited a couple of hundred into there at the time of applying. I logged into my account this morning to get my FICO score, and see that there is a new section below "ADD A SHARE"/"ADD A LOAN"/"ADD A CERTIFICATE" that is labeled "Cards". In there, it shows my Visa Check Card with an ATM Limit of $500.00 and Purchase Limit of $1,500.00. Weird thing is that both of these limits is above my current balance???? Is this a credit card? With my other banks, the VISA/Debit card was always a means to use your debit card where ever VISA was accepted on purchases. But my limit was my checking account balance. Why is it labeled this way? Can someone please explain this to me? Thanks guys!
  2. I've been a member there for about two years now and have never applied for the Visa/PSL combo. How are they with accepting apps for this combo and how are they with recons (if required)? Right now my score is about 640 (just got accepted to Chase/Discover/Barclays and know my score) on Experian right now. I have one baddie on there that is past SOL and am currently disputing. I would love to get that combo but when I go into the credit pulls database, the only score close to mine was accepted but that was in 2012 and not in my state.
  3. Hey! Has anyone discovered another Credit Union who offers PSL 20/20 Combo type of product?? I currently have PSECU and Love it! But looking to fine another credit union with similar product offerings. What I really like about PSECU 1. Offers PSL 20/20 Combo 2. Pulls EX but does not care about Inquiries 3. Easy approvals and great customer service 4. High Credit Lines Are there any other Credit Unions out there that even come close ?? Thought this would be an Interesting topic, since not everone can qualify for PSECU. Discuss............
  4. Hi Guys, Has anyone been approved for more than (1) Visa card with PSECU?? If yes, what has been your experience?/ What are the pros or cons of doing this?
  5. I have been with PSECU since the end of 2010. I never really used the account; I think I used the debit card for KFC. I have recently been taking on more credit, and my FAKO scores are 586/566/579. Never been negative with PSECU. No real history or activity, either. Can anyone tell me what PSECU likes to see to approve a CC app with them?
  6. Before I joined the gardening group, I decided to do one last app. Applied for the PSL/VISA combo from PSECU and was approved for 10,000!! Not too bad considering my low income due to being a full time student. I wanted to thank everyone here on CB for all their help and insightful info. I knew nothing about credit a year ago.
