On my way to Atlanta yesterday I got a text. I was suspicious When I got home I checked out online banking, nothing I then checked my email, email from Chase Fraud I clicked the link in the email, page error I called today. Actual card was used to purchase $200 at a dollar store in Columbia SC. Chase said it was in in store purchase so someone had replicated my card. My Freedom card was used at Home Depot and Target. New account One more TL This is the 2nd CC of mine to get hacked in the last 2.5 years.

So excited. Took a loan out on prosper.com for 2500.00 3yr term 31.49% simple interest back in Oct 2011 to cover back condo fees and a over limit credit card. I've been paying it three months ahead for the past year trying to cut out some of the interest charges. Paid in Full today and ready to have it behind me. Even the customer service rep on the phone said my rate was crazy high! Sick in bed today but wanna get up and dance around!

I applied for the freedom card online about 4 or 5 months ago and got declined because I had too many inquirys from car shopping 8 months prior. When I got the letter I didn't bother calling the number because I was new to credit cards at the time and had no idea I could talk to an underwriter. I know right now Chase has a limited time offer if you spend $500 in the first few months you'll recieve $200 cash back. Should I wait on reapplying for the freedom card or should I try again? Any suggestions?

When I got auto-approved for Chase Freedom, the message said: Your new account has a credit line of $5,000. If this does not meet your needs, please discuss available credit line options with our Customer Service Specialist when you call to confirm receipt of your card. I activated it, but didn't speak to anyone or ask for a CLI. When is the best time to do it?
