  1. So I've had Eastern Account Systems as a thorn in my side for a few years now. They're reporting twice for an old Comcast Bill (Comcast was paid in full, I have proof of that). I've disputed that they were incorrect and are reporting in duplicate with EX but of course EX keeps verifying and refuses to investigate further. I've sent out one last dispute letter to them but I'm really considering suing for violation of the FCRA/FDCPA if they don't delete this crap already. What would I have to do to file suit? Can I just file in my home county (I'm in NJ) and pull the CA trick of trying to get a default judgment?
  2. Does anybody have any good contact information for EAS? I've attempted everything with this company to remove 2 negative tradelines listed on my Experian CR for the same Comcast account. This is a paid collection. Disputes with the CRA have come back verified.. Contact with the CA has gone unanswered.. Attempts with the OC have been unsuccessful, as well as the BBB. It's been suggested that I try a GW letter. I've had difficulty finding any contacts.. If you know of anyone that I could address my letter to, please let me know! Thanks.
