  1. Hello All, I am fairly new to this forum so please bare with me. So far you all have helped me in fixing my awful credit (never let a irresponsible person own a credit card ), but I need help with this problem. I recently send a DVL to my CA (PINNACLE CREDIT SERVICES) for a debt that I supposedly owe VERIZON WIRELESS from 2007, after trying to get in contact with them for a long time. Long story short, I received a "response" from an entirely different CA ( FIRST NATIONAL COLLECTION BUREAU). It was a settlement offer of 70% off the supposed original debt. Keep in mind I have not received any notification from any CA regarding this particular debt. I called them to ask who they were and they said they wanted to settle but I need to send a letter stating I no longer dispute the debt? Is this correct? Or should I send FIRST NATIONAL CA a DVL? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! I'm really trying to fix my credit to get a house and this is yet another bump in the road.
