  1. Great Success. Thank you for the heads up
  2. Apologizes for confusion. CO was June 2017 The last date that it was updated on CR was July 31, 2018
  3. Haha, no worries. Thank you very much for taking the time to read it!
  4. Interesting idea. I will try that. Thank you
  5. Will research. Thank you Will research, thank you. I have all intensions of resolving the matter. Just following the research I've come up with here and trying my best. Good point. I will consider that. Thank you!
  6. No intension of kicking them. Just was under the impression judgements should not appear on credit reports. Thank you. Do you have any suggestions regarding how to follow up? I understand. Will look for specificity. Any resources that you can point me to regarding this? I agree regarding it no longer being 2000. There are a ton of resources here but many of them seem to be dated. Not sure and I don't currently drive anyway. Don't they have 30 days to respond? Any advice on how to handle this?
  7. Hey Everyone: I'm based in NY- 6 year SOL. I was wondering if I could get some insight here. Started on my credit repair journey. Started off by correcting name/addresses on all 3 reports. Transunion: Had a civil judgement due to a regulatory issue. Dept. of Treasury now holds the judgement. It's showing up on my transunion report only as a collection. I was under the impression that judgements were not to be shown on CR. Spoke with Transunion and they stated this is true and to mail a copy of the judgement. Did this via mail, certified. They responded with no changes
  8. Contact all of the creditors and explain the situation to them. They should be able to do something for you (lower interest, etc.) If they don't budge, drop the Bankruptcy word and see if that motivates them.
  9. Would probably help to provide information such as the age of the debt I know you mentioned the fact that they supposedly issued a refund 5 years ago. Is this debt even with the SOL?
  10. I would rather have no student loans then the cash back opportunities lol Good heads up, thanks. Pretty good deals.
  11. Ahh...I see. Yeah, it appears that there is a different points system and less cards. In america we have have the premier rewards gold card which has a more beneficial points system. https://www304.americanexpress.com/credit-card/premier-rewards-gold/25330 Frankly if you 19 and just want the card just apply for it and see what happens. It's not like your going to be buying cars, houses, etc. and applying for tons of other things in the near future might as well just apply and use the inquiry.
  12. Not 100% sure if this is correct, but I've read that the charge cards are easier to be approved for than the credit cards, since charge cards need to be paid back within 30 days.
  13. Call them as ask them to do it or you won't add on the pack. They are pretty good with customer service.
