  1. It varies state to state, I know in my state liquor licenses are eligible for transfer and resale as long as the buyer qualifies.
  2. The kinda cars CV drives. Don't often go to auction, these are fast & flashy dealers keep these for inventory as they are a easy sell. At a profit.
  3. I haven't seen a radio shack in ages, in fact I haven't stepped into one for even longer. Nothing they were offering was even competively priced. So long to this old relic of the 20th century
  4. So I watched sausage party, since I like shows like south park, & futurama etc. No real plot, just seems like it was written by a bunch of hormone crazed teenagers, who love food. Thumbs down, I should have heeded CV's warning but curiosity killed the cat
  5. I heard the aluminum link to Alzheimers for years, no scientific evidence. But it's a wives tale that is here to stay. If it is a proven fact, I'm screwed And Pam, celiacs is a mouse, a friend of mines wife & daughter were both diagnosed with it, he started taking part in their diet, and now his diabetes and weight has never been better. Unfortunately they came to visit me one time and I believe I didn't have a damn thing they could eat or drink.
  6. I keep saying the same thing, but someone else keeps paying for me to go. I keep telling her that if she has to waste money she doesn't have, at least make it somewhere good (like Hawaii -- Driving on H1 is just as exciting as riding Indiana Jones a bozillion times in one day ). H1 moves at about 25 mph, even with no traffic. I've hit 60 on H1 a couple of times. It didn't last long, and I was being passed like I was sitting still, but I've done it I don't go to HI for H1. Me either. https://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=587919&p=5608418 PowerlessPoint. Gross. AotD: A coworker came to work today, after calling out sick yesterday. When asked by our lead if he was feeling better, his reply was, "Kind of. It's just strep throat". I told him that if any of the other 6 of us in the shared office come down with strep in the near future... I'd do to him what folks in 11 (I think it was) states would do to folks seen using CV's new Discovery card... I don't think my coworkers got it... They all laughed. ETA: His just being there does annoy me (he's the coffee gulper/slurper that I'd referred to a little over a year ago), but that's beside the point Coffee slurper people who eat & talk with a mouthful of food. It's so irritating to me, just hearing it a mile away is nails on a chalkboard, However I'm surprised they didn't kick his flowers home strep is contagious for 48 hrs.
  7. Is it just me or do others in their own profession, cannot rationalize how people drop money without batting an eye. I just had a 2012 camaro come in with a shot motor. Car looks kinda neglected, and he said he just added 3 quarts of oil to it and some of the noise went away. Couldn't tell you the last time he had an oil change. He flat out said yeah I just kept resetting the monitor. I quoted 8k for a new motor, and odds and ends associated with it. Gaskets, seals, etc. Without batting an eye he said yeah do it. Whipped out his shiny credit card for the deposit, So for complaining oil changes are too expensive, am 8k engine swap is no biggie. My last project car didn't run ms 8k
  8. Meh, I got my first ear infection ever. I'm 34, I had a discharge and pain so I went to the urgent care, right away they freaked sent me to a specialist so by this time I'm freaking out, ENT looks & says oh you have a middle ear infection here's some drops. And a antibiotic.
  9. Peeing blood? Kidney stones? Or did the maid brigade fail you? Real Red or sort of an orangey (rust ) red?Reddish orange. Probably iron in the water. Most likely, I had that problem in my hometown, heavy iron deposits, water softener helped. I'm voting iron in the water, too. We get that pink/red scum on anything that touches water up here in the Seattle area, too. The Maid Brigade will be here on the 30th. This will be a good test of my will. I broke down this morning and found a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner in the cabinet in the laundry room. I applied a generous amount to the area in question, and went back in two hours later. Problem solved without even touching the brush! I just flushed my problems away. I tend to try and drink my problems away
  10. Parts of central pa, can easily be described as the hills have eyes, started their own hoarders episodes
  11. No reason you can't bat for both teams. Not my cup of tea, but it would bring you a lot of options.Lol I have a few real life friends that bat for the other team and they always tell me there is plenty of room. Lol. But also not my cup of tea. What is the right expression from someone who doesn't like tea? Because I really hate tea. That's a good point, the only tea I like is of the long Island variety. Doesn't float my boat? Or do you have a thing against boats?

  13. Oh how I wish it was $20 a month. I am paying slightly over $122 a week. I believe that was years ago, I been in the workforce for 16 years now. When I first got out of the military my insurance was 10 dollars a week. When I changed jobs, cause I had kids it went to 30 a week. Now a family plan is 800 a month
  14. The more I venture out the more I realize I'm better off single or batting for the other team 😱

  17. I remember a while back someone said do a mortgage app, at least 6 months prior to a planned approval. This way any surprises are handled before they creep up just before closing? I been searching like a mofo, nothing coming back?
  18. As many lies as I've been told over the years... It's entirely possible. I think we all share the same Ex,
  19. I thought the fine was for those who didn't have health insurance? Whether or not, you exceed 10% of your gross pay?
  20. Some of us are in fantastic health, go to the doctor on a regular basis, eat well, and mitigate stress with reckless drug use - how could not carrying insurance be unwise? Seriously, single dudes and broads below the age of 25 are probably going to save a few bucks by not having insurance, and at that time in life a buck is a buck. I use to work in the Fire & EMS field, many people had that point of view, Then something happened and they have one hell of a bad day and rack up a huge hospital bill. Every single one of them wished they would have just paid to have the health insurance. You play with fire some day you'll get burned.. Same here, I was a paramedic for a few years. A ride in my overpriced taxi cost between 900 - 1800 dollars depending. The area I served covered the upper middle class, and those living below poverty. Depending on the situation, homeowners, or auto insurance covered the bill. But other times it was patient pay. A lot of these people didn't have thousands of dollars to shell out for a ride, so. We ended up losing in the end, couldn't decline services if they called.
  21. Well duh if you go to Costco on a weekend afternoon its going to be busy. Never go to Costco on a weekend
  22. DING! DING! DING! WE HAVE A WINNAH and it ain't 'dis b!tch!! Pretty much, impressive she has her own home. Not impressive piles of debt, poor money management, poor grammar poor decisions and it's like oh whatever. As far as friends playing matchmaker. My sister introduced my best friend to his wife. They been happily married for 10 years now. Not bad for today's standard
  23. Apparently people can't decipher conceited and proud. A friend of mine tried to play matchmaker, it didn't bode well. The lady, 30, not exactly physically attractive, instagram and Facebook filtering gave her a false confidence I guess. But whatever if she's got a good personality I'll entertain it, nope, 4 kids, no baby daddies, lemonade poor attitude and ghetto fabulous. Then I get you just don't have an open mind, you forgot where you came from. No I know where I started and where I came from, and a chick who continues to make poor decisions and doesn't seem to care, is not exactly gf material.
  24. I am surely not jesus christ, but I have done some resurrecting of vehicles. My sunfire is a zombie. I always say I'm a mechanic not a magician
  25. What is chillaxing? Sounds like your sitting on the can waiting for a laxative to kick in.
