  1. Just got an email saying that soon there will be no FTF on this card. Just sharing the news...
  2. My 04 scores were actually higher than my 08 scores...
  3. Yeah, they no longer report. When I paid it off, they said it was 120 days late one month and then current again. So my credit report shows Current in Jan,Feb,March,April then 120 days late in May and Current again in June of 2012. So frustrating that no one could help
  4. National Grid is terrible to deal with as far as credit reporting. There is STILL an error reporting after 2+ years of disputing with about every avenue possible. I was on a payment plan with them in which they reported current. As soon as I paid it off, they reported me 120 days late. I've tried speaking with them directly, disputing with CRAs, CFPB, AG....
  5. When I was just shy of $40K income they gave me $12,500 with a 676 FICO. Be patient, it's possible....
  6. MY EX IS FROZEN...THEY SENT ME A MESSAGE SAYING THAT THEY CANNOT APPROVE MY MEMBERSHIP BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PULL MY CREDIT REPORT... sorry about caps lock....at work
  7. You should have got a letter from in writing confirming the conversation before you paid them a dime. CAs are liars. Always remember that. National Grid is the OC, not the CA. But MindCrime30 is right, you should have gotten something in writing before paying. I went through a similar situation with National Grid, they are horrible to deal with. They are the only baddie I was not able to remove from my report. Luckily, they are only on Equifax.
  8. I got the same email this morning although I only went from $1,000 to $2,300, I'll take it with no HP.
  9. If you dispute the bill with the IRS successfully, NYS will adjust the amount owed. They will not delete or adjust the interest unless the tax owed is adjusted and that only happens if the IRS supplies you with a redertermination letter. So if you're just looking to protest the interest assessed, NYS will not get rid of it.
  10. I just finished chatting with them to see if I can ammend my rate for a loan with a balance of 10,500. They told me the fee was $100. Are others being told $50?
  11. Where are you guys seeing the discount for on time payment? I do not see it anywhere on their website. I have had an auto loan with DCU since December 2012 and all my payments have been on time. My rate is still 1.99% Should I be receiving a discount?
