  1. I was just notified of a judgment against me - I never received the original summons, so didn't answer, so they got a default judgment. There were 2 other people listed on the complaint, one of whom was never served like me, yet I am the only one against whom the judgment has been issued. I'm in the process of locating a lawyer, but in the meantime how can I protect my accounts, and what else should I know ? Sorry for all the questions, but I don't see this type of thing posted anywhere else. Thanks in advance for any help.
