  1. I've done that..I've even spoken to the President of the company but to no avail. I told him that I don't mind paying what I signed up to pay ...my fees of 473.00...but that I have a major problem with the way that they bill me other charges in addition to that. All I wanted was to be able to deal with the utility companies and receive a bill from them directly (NOT FROM MY HOMEOWNERS ASSOC)...he said that there shouldn't have been a problem for them to do that. The last email I received from him LAST YEAR in September, he said that he'd me meeting with me so that we could sit down, go over everything, and get it worked out...for me to send a time to him that would be good within the next few days. Well I sent like 5 emails trying to confirm a time and haven't received anything from him since...the very last email I sent I basically told them that if they didn't have the matter looked into...that I would be seeing them in court and wouldn't be paying them another dime until something was done about it. Noone ever responded to me and I haven't paid dues since then. We're in the process of going to court now.

  3. Congrats on your new card and CL! What website did you go to to apply? I went to nationalcity.com and couldn't find where to apply for their card online. Call this number 1-800-762-0974 Online may tell you that they do not service your area and will present no apply option??? However, they do serve all states. A phone call will work. I tried to find the main NC thread to bump it up with my results but it doesnt come up in the search function for me.... edit to say: this thread started out as kinda a joke seeing if anybody thought it would be a good idea. I wouldn't go on an actual app spree in this climate. I applied for 2 cards and thats all for me! Goodluck if you want to go for a few though is that the national city rewards elite visa card?

  8. I would NOT suggest reacting with a dispute of inqs...especially if the inqs are from approved tradelines I was always told by TU that they didn't dispute inquiries, even if you disputed them in writing
  9. The gold charge? Why would you go for the gold if you got denied for the green? Did you try to reconsider? I don't know Amex's application policy. Some make you wait 30-60 days. I called in for reconsideration but was told no. Which one would you go for after being denied for the green? Should I wait 30 days?

  12. yes experian, actually the score was 702 that day not 710--my bad, but still
  13. Yes I'm just trying to get my foot in the door, didn't matter if it was charge or not. But since I was denied less than 30 days ago would I just get automatically denied again for whatever I applied for with them?
