  1. News to me! Never heard of Discover using those 'subprime' tactics like Chase most certainly does. As for the OP, no way would I be worrying about credit lines and my relationship with card companies while paying that kind of interest. I'd most likely pay them all off instantly and see where the chips fall. Building credit lines back up isn't difficult and not extremely time consuming.
  2. Make sure to apply for the Chase Freedom first because of their asinine 5/24 rule.
  3. Just an FYI but this card will not be linked to your Paypal account online til after your 4th day of activation. That explains why I couldn't find an online management interface.
  4. It looks like Amazon. My Walmart recently updated to this interface as well. Thats good to know since I'm fond of their Amazon interface. Just got my card today and activated it over the phone. I feel like an salamander but I don't see where to login for the card interface! I logged into my PayPal account and dont see any mention there either. lol
  5. Not much different than my Citi Double Cash except I'm sure I'll build a much higher line quicker with Sync. This will make 5 cards with them. Anyone have a picture of the card interface? Girlfriend and I have a bet whether it's the newer modern interface most their cards use or the older bland American Eagle style.
  6. I jumped on a preapproval a few months back from Commerce Bank. 0% BT for 14 months and no fees. They also approved the card as my largest CL, double the amount of any other cards I have.
  7. Maybe those PayDay loans are starting to report now
  8. Thats me! I had too many other new accounts before I heard about this insane 5/24 crap. I'll keep my Amazon card with them and be content for now.
  9. I use my Google number on all my apps and accounts but I've never had an issue to date. SyncBank, Amex, Chase, Citi, Discover and numerous CUs. This SMS code stuff is annoying at times though.
  10. My Sams and Walmart FICO are always the same. Wish I could get another EQ score besides DCU.
  11. I wasnt able to use the PP Biz account so I created a personal PP account using my secondary email address then applied. Wasn't instant, had to call in and verify ID then she submitted app and gave me approval for $5200. Numerous new accounts and about 17 inqs right now. Sync of course pulled TU and I'm at 768 I believe.
  12. Still doesnt allow me to apply after it takes me to my PP logon screen. I may need to create another PP account first then try to apply. My current PP account is business so maybe that's the issue.
  13. I'm missing the reference apparently. Sorry. Anyways, I called and they had only offered $3800 due to the number of new accounts I've opened in the past 6 months I ask if they could bump it up to $7500 and they countered with $6k. I'm happy with that for now since I've not had a card of theirs since 2008! None of their cards ever felt compelling to me really or maybe I'm missing a gem or two. Mendel was referring to it as being an acronym for a student loan, versus saying CL--credit line. And congrats on the approval. Give it 6 months and hit me up for a CLI. lol Now I get it. And thank you I'm missing the reference apparently. Sorry. You still got 60% more than they were originally offering you. Good job. Indeed. Thanks for the tip again. My highest CL is $13k but I'm sure this BOA card will grow over time.
