    Need advice on chancing 5/24

That is a co-branded card not a core Chase card. 5/24 doesn't apply to these cards. 5/24 does apply to the United cards. The only chance of an approval is if you have a preapproved offer on your login or in-branch. Yeah I just learned that based on the posts prior to yours, but per above recon may work as well. Recon isn't going to work if denied for this reason. You need the preapproved offer either in-branch or online. It worked for me. ☺ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That is a co-branded card not a core Chase card. 5/24 doesn't apply to these cards. 5/24 does apply to the United cards. I understand the co-branded hotel cards are the main cards not under 5/24. The analyst told me it was mainly their non-branded and airline cards that fall under the rule. OP, I was recently approved for a Chase United Visa Siggie. I am way past the 5/24 rule. I actually have more like 21/24 with 35 inquiries (I had a crazy app spree). Anyway, it was auto declined but I called the recon number and the analyst approved the card after a couple of quick questions. YMMV Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks... I'll send you an app as soon as I'm discharged.

    Auto credit after bankruptcy?

Thanks guys... what type of interest rate should I be expecting? I plan on starting to clean up my CRs immediately after discharge, but I must get a vehicle immediately after... so, I can always refinance a little later down the road. Just curious as to what % people are paying these days. I'm not sure if it helps, but I do have the lease through Lexus Financial that is staying and a payment has never been missed. Also, I checked my reports last night and I have five other loans that were paid with perfect history that will be staying. I hope this helps.

    Auto credit after bankruptcy?

Thanks, Marv! I thought the same as well, but it just takes so darn long to get through this. I think I'm going to be probably end of June before I get discharged. Are there lending institutions out there who will approve straight out of BK?

    Auto credit after bankruptcy?

Hello, everyone. As much as it kills me, due to family illness, I am going to have to file bankruptcy. In-fact, I have an appointment with the attorney first thing in the morning. *wish me luck* lol I need a little advice... Okay, here's where it gets tricky. I have two open auto loans right now. The first car is my grandmother's car and she pays the payment. No problem (yet).. The second is/was my car. I was in a severe car crash Jan 14th of this year and my lovely (dripping with sarcasm) insurance company has today decided to total my car. I knew it was coming, but it took forever. Anyway, they are paying off this loan by the end of the week. Simply put, I need a car. The only bank (if you can call them that) that has even taken a look at me with my current scores (all between 480-500 -- big step down from last year ) is Drive Financial at 24.99% interest with $7,000 down, but they want me to trade my grandmother's car in. They only want one open auto loan. So, to make a long story short, here's my question... Will I have better luck waiting until after my BK has been discharged for myself to get a car and be able to keep my grandmother's car? Or does anyone here know of a bank or credit union that will take a look at me with my current scores? Oh, btw, the reason her car is in my name is because of ID theft. It's still not all cleared up and she still can not get approved in her name, so no chances of transferring her car into her name. Thank you all so much in advance.

Kay / Jared zeroes out credit line

This happened to me. I had accounts with Kay, Jared, and JB Robson (all of them technically the same account) with $3,000.00 credit limits. I didn't use them for almost two years (probably the big problem), went into the store and saw a MontBlanc Pen that I fell in love with. When I tried to buy it using my Jared's card, it was declined. I had to produce my social security card, driver's license, and a recent utility bill for them to reopen my accounts. However, when they reopened them, my credit limit had been reduced to $1,000. Typical!

Chase closed my $0 balance account

You can call them on Monday and ask them to reconsider their decision. I've seen it work for some people. Good luck!

    US Bank Quick Credit

Hello! I have two of my business accounts with US Bank, and I was approved for a $5k overdraft line of credit that is attached to my primary checking account. Nonetheless, it was fairly painless. In-fact, I was "pre-approved" for it when I opened the account, and it took all of 5-minutes to setup. I think the pre-approval amount was for $1.5k, and I asked if it could be raised to $5k, and it was without any issues. US Bank always pulls TU for me, and I think my scores were just above 700 at the time. Oh, and the company I opened it on is less than one year old. My loan officer told me they mainly go by your personal credit, but if your business has been open a long time and can show good returns, they'll lean more toward the business credit/assets for decisioning. Good luck!

    Any new daily pullers?

Yes, I contacted customer service about it, and they said their system automatically flags anyone trying to retrieve their credit score with a fraud alert on their TU bureau. They said they were working on resolving the problem and would e-mail me once I could start pulling again.

    Any new daily pullers?

I feel like nobody is allowing daily pulls anymore. The only daily puller I have left is True Credit (I guess I was grandfathered into their old system). CIDP just updated (as you guys knows) their membership agreement and are only allowing pulls every 90 days without a chase account and 30 days with a chase account. I told them to kiss it... Anyway, I can't use CCT b/c EX is on ice, and since I froze EX, they put fraud alerts on my other two reports, and even though I have since removed them, CK will not allow anyone to use their service that has had a fraud alert placed on their reports while being a member. Ugh. Any others out there? Thanks!

    Business to Business Financing

Hey! I'm hoping you all can help me out here. I have been on the phone all day with at least 15 different banks trying to obtain a financing agreement to provide my new customers with financing. I have owned my own teeth whitening business for a quite a while now, and I just recently bought into a dealership and became a wholesaler. I have at least 30 different salons who are willing to let me demonstrate my equipment and procedures for them, and possibly purchase the equipment to offer teeth whitening at their own businesses. However, I'm afraid I'm going to run into the cost issue. My packages start around $2k and go up to well over $10k. I just don't think a lot of small business owners can come up with that much money to invest in new services right now. On to my question... Does anyone know of a commercial lender that will allow me to offer financing to my prospective customers? I have called almost everyone I know of (Citi Retail Services, LendMark, Wells Fargo, GE Money, American General, Chase, BOA, BB&T, US Bank, PNC Bank, and a few other local banks) and nobody is offering equipment financing for B2B. The best anyone could do was a local bank, and the customer would have to have a 730+ to get an unsecured loan for a max of $2,500. Plus, they can't offer me dealer status. I would like to be able to take the application, get the approval, and sign the contracts while I'm still at the salon. I really think I can make more sales if I can offer a financing or leasing package to my new clients. I thought about providing the financing myself, but I'm afraid of restricting too much of my cash flow and having it come back to haunt me. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
