  1. This happens, we have sold a car at times when it was not yet paid off either to the flooring company or the previous finance company. It takes extra time in some cases to get these things done properly in order to get the title. Many lenders do not like this and will only give you so much time to have the validated registration in their name or the loan gets kicked back. Did everything work out in the end?
  2. In California, we file a DBA with the county. This allows you to open a Business Checking account in the name of the company. It is important for any company to be able to accept checks written out to the company name. Note: If the business contains your name, this is not required.

I just kept checking business search until I came up. Took a LONG time that way though.
  4. Nothing wrong with a home based business. Get a DBA filing, Business Checking, and EIN. That should be more than enough proof.
  5. New Business 2016, DNB file just created, 1 tradeline. I applied for Arco Fleet which asked for PG information. I left out social, but it still checked EX, EQ, and DNB. Received an email with an invitation to the 3x program. $200 required for an $800 spend limit. This is odd because 3x 200 is not 800, LOL. I've had ARCO before and it was a NET30 account. I think the limit was $300 back then (7-8 years ago)
  6. Midway between the 4th and 5th statement, went from $300 to $700. I did not ask for an increase lately (did when opened). FICO went from 600 to 630 since opening. Merry Xmas!
  7. Good for food/restaurant purchases (3x). That is what I use mine for (ebay MC, but same thing) Gas points are a wash because most gas stations in Cali charge more for credit. 2x points on ebay purchases is fair if you shop there often. So the structure of the rewards, plus the lackluster redemption program make the ebay/PP mc not very attractive other than the easy approval. By comparison the Quicksilver 1.5% cash back on EVERYTHING you purchase is much easier. The commercial is right!
  8. I read about the $1 push too late! I ended up buying a $12 sterling silver item and sold it for $10. So for $2 it just reported again. I'll try the $1 push in the next 6 months.
  9. We use the average of the last 3 bank statements.
  10. I deal with USAA customers (as well as other truecar leads) on a daily basis. We treat them like cash customers and give them discounts. I don't see why the dealer would try to charge the customer MORE. The money hits our account the next day so it is a win win for us. USAA customers are more often then not military, so we treat them with the respect they deserve. Our lead source page lets us set a "discount" that is presented to the customer. They bring in the certificate and there is rarely a negotiation. They have already been told by truecar that they are getting a good deal, so they just decide to buy and drive away.
  11. Opening deposit was posted on 8/9/16. The $100 opening bonus was deposited on 8/31/16. I think it is safe to say that we are out of the woods. PS. I opened a business account too. Woo hoo!
