  1. I received a filed tax lien letter from IRS couple of days ago. The letter says the lien was filed 10 days ago (1/18/17). I'm trying to dispute this with the IRS too, but I feel the ball has unfortunately started rolling and could be on it's way to report it to the credit bureaus. The actual lien hasn't shown up yet on my county's registerer's records (as of today), which is usually the first stop for these IRS liens. How soon does an IRS lien show up from the filing date? Does the lien need to show up on county records first before it makes it to the credit bureaus? Thanks in advance!

  3. I applied for the Amazon Prime Card and was approved for $2,400. I couldn't locate the chat feature on their website, but decided to call the number from my approval email. I was told they would another hard pull to see if I can get a higher limit (was looking for $4k, because of my current business orders from Amazon). I decided against it and said will wait for my card. So you can get CLI through a chat with a representative? If so, please share more. Thanks!
  4. See this discussion about my AMEX reinstatement: http://creditboards.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=530404&hl=
  5. AMEX would not reinstate my blue cash preferred, so I had to reapply for new AMEX BCP. I was approved for $4k. Will do 3x in 60 days... hopefully it works.
  6. Thank you! It was all patience and reading tons of other people experience on CB.
  7. No... Because I had $200 limit when I joined this boards. Just sharing some info. If you don't find this helpful, then why cramp my topic? Should have added that to begin with! Very nice Thanks. I didnt understand why you assumed self boasting when someone shares progressive experience.

  9. So I decided to test the water today and request credit limit increase on my cards. Got some mixed response. JP Morgan Select: $50k (hidden trade line is 2x the limit, which is $25k) Bank of America Business: $20k Chase Freedom: $18k (requested $25k but only gave me $3k increase from $15k. Reason? JP Morgan Select is at $25k... Smh). Amex Platinum Business: $8k (I once had $50k, but card was cancelled then reinstated with $8k. I should be able to increase this to $50k again in the future) Amex BCP: $4k (another reinstated card, but 3x limit increase shouldn't be a problem down the road). Total: $100k Now... I' confident the Amex cards can get me another $50-75k lines alone, and I think the Chase cards can go up too by $20k-30k combined. I'm not big on opening on new cards, and rather stick with what I have now. Still disappointed that my Chase Freedom hasn't allowed me to go above $18k. Oh well...

    Fico Score 820

The highest I have seen on these boards were 840 range i think, but never 850. You have to have be credit of 10+ years I think, spotless inquiries and 50 shades of revolving and mortgage accounts. If 800 score is the 1% risk based of society club, as Fico claims. Then 850 is the 0.01%.

There is a chance I could hit 850, but is 850 even possible?

    Fico Score 820

Yes, specially some of the loans had different interest rates.

I was in school for 4 years undergrad, then took a 4 years break, then another 4 years profession schools. So total 8 years in school.
  14. I pulled up my EX fico score today, and I was surprised to see it break 800 score. More about my CR: Oldest Account: 8.5 years. Revolving Accounts: 4 (Chase Freedom, Capital One, AMEX, Macy's - total about $45k in limits) Mortgage Accounts: 2 (both 2 years old) Auto Accounts: 2 (1 is 3 years old, 1 as a co-signer) Student Loan Accounts: 27 (the lender apparently prefers to break 1 account into 27 small ones based on semesters I was in school) Paid Off & Closed Accounts: 2 (1 auto paid off, 1 credit card closed) Utilization: Less than 10% Collections: None Public Records: None Inquiries: 1 (last 12 months) You can see in this image, that only my payment history was great, everything else is average. So room for growth. Hope this helps other CB members.
