  5. I asked about splitting profiles while in a branch yesterday and the banker said they cannot be split once they are combined. She said they inform you of that before you click the button to proceed. I'm going to give it a shot over the phone. The probability is higher than in branch. Yeah that's what I thought. I'll try that as well. Good luck!

  7. I am past chasing every signup bonus out there. I am earning more than enough rewards to book international first/business class on a couple trips per year, which was my goal. My main goal is to build a long term portfolio at this point, and I would keep those 3 cards even though WF would become useless. The WF card is for more of a game than anything. I think I am going to split my Chase profile online into personal and business so I can get the new layout. They give people over 5/24 preapprovals but if you have the business login, it's the old layout and the preapprovals are not there. I would like to PC my current Chase Sapphire Reserve to a Freedom Unlimited and then apply for the Chase Sapphire Reserve with a signup bonus. I would also like to get another UR business card and then see if I can PC to an Ink Cash if it is still available. Is there a way to split your profile online? I tried but couldn't get it done. 8. Yes, wireless services count. I pay my cellphone bill each month with my BarclayCard. I've always received double points.
  9. Aim higher.Hi Mendel,I would but I have just my income listed with Amex, not household (which is about $200k right now). Without going into detail, If they require his POI or tax returns, he definitely won't comply. My income alone is $70ish, 4% util (all 0%, $190k in lines). What's a safe amount to request? POI would be a joint return tax transcript. He wouldn't comply with that? Definitely not. He understands little to nothing about how credit works, among other things. Plus, I'll be moving out by the end of this year anyway so I'd rather not use his income.

  11. Cap One: $26.2k Amex Hilton/Walmart store: $25k ea Alliant CU Visa: $20k Due for CLI with Amex in a few days. Will probably ask to go to $30k
  12. Nordstrom Visa auto CLI from $8500 --> $12700. Last increase was from $6000 to $8500 in November (also auto CLI).
  13. You can call Barclays every 6 months using a backdoor number, and ask if a SP APR decrease or CLI are available. You just have to get past the front line CSR's, so calling a backdoor number works, they will shoot your call over to the appropriate group(s). Off-topic FYI: just did this yesterday. Got a $2500 increase, APR reduction from 16.24 to 12.24, and 0% on purchases until September of next year on my rewards MasterCard.
  14. Nordstrom store card auto CLI of $2500, from $6 to $8.5. I need to call and ask to convert to the Visa Sig. Do they still do that now that TD is managing their cards?
