I am going into the dealership Thursday after work to see what they have to offer.
-
I was approved at Navy Fed for an Auto Loan, BMW dealership said they had special deals if you finance with BMW Financial should I go for it or stay with my pre-approval?
-
I hope so. I'll post after I talk to them on Monday. I talked to them this morning and he asked me a few questions and said he would submit it to underwriting. They called today and said it was denied, I was shocked won't know why until I receive the letter:(

The person who left the message was from the executive office his name was Charles, I just listened to his message again and he said some concerns that were brought to their attention.
-
Can I call any time or are there specific hours to call?
-
I emailed executive office late last night and I received a call from them today but I missed it and they left a voice, ail message saying to call them they had some concerns about my card. I only asked for a CLI. We're they just calling for information? I called back and left a message as he was gone for the day they said to call him Monday morning. Anyone else ever received this message?

NFCU no longer automatically unsecures a secured card

I sent an email to nfcu asking my secured be unsecured and I received a big fat no. They said the only thing I could do was to close it and apply for another credit card, if I chose to close it they money would go back into my savings. I don't want to close it I have had the card for almost 2 years next month will be 2 years. Do you think if I called do you think I'd get a different result? Since opening the secured card, would you say that your credit overall has gotten better, stayed about the same, or has got worse? I think it's gotten better, I have the nfcu cash rewards card for $3000 -
call the magic number What is the number?

I've had my amazon store card for over 2 years and every time I've applied for a CLI on my account it's always denied I rarely carry a balance on it if I do it's only $100-150 max. Is there a number I can call to speak with someone?

So. As i've been building my credit.. I tried the sportsmans guide. Picked a few ammunition I could use and followed the normal steps to get pre-approval like I did with a VS card. I got the pre-approval for the VISA, but does that still do a soft pull If I accept it? Thanks! -D I tried the discover link and it should the Discover recommended more card. I didn't apply I didn't want a hard pull and not get approved, do you know if it will do a hard pull? Just because it says recommended that doesn't mean you will get it.

No pop ups for me at Pier One, Crate and Barrell or J.Crew just enter payment information.

It's probably personal preference. However, if you're military and have your military pay going to NFCU, you get a discount by applying in person or over the phone. Also, if you apply in person and you're automatically approved, you can get the check right then and there -- no waiting. As far as criteria goes, the amount is based off your gross monthly income, value of vehicle, and your debt-to-income ratio. The rate is based on your credit/relationship with NFCU and the age/mileage of the vehicle. So in other words, there's no simple answer. Thanks
