  1. Yes, it is true. You must complete the "Joint & Several Liable" form in order for your application to be processed. I wonder if they have changed this on the HDMC side.
  2. Unfortunately, you are not covered by the same laws that govern the consumer credit (FCRA and FDCPA). There should be no harm in asking, but it may be a long shot, but possible. It depends on who you speak with. But note, they are under no OBLIGATION to give you one for free.
  3. Please give us information about your business. How long have you been in biz? Inc'd? Do you have a Paydex or DnB file yet? Is your business registered? Biz telephone? We need more if you want thoughts or help.
  4. Ok, this may seem weird, but I have a Cingular Business Account that I got maybe a year ago. I was approved but I never used that account. Now, I can't find the email and I don't even know what the website address (because the program had some special name). Since AT&T, its hard to find. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the type of Cingular Business Account is was. I DO KNOW THIS: The account would allow my employess to purchase off of my account. If anyone has this type of account and knows the name of the program and the link, I would appreciate it very much! Be blessed, CoreOne
  5. Yeah, I have all three. I know, for the most part, how they work, but this is a questions I did not have the answer to. Thanks!
  6. I have an associate who applied for The Citi Trio on January 2nd of this year. He got denied because of personal credit issues. His business credit was not strong. (I told him to wait ) His personal pulls happened on the January 2, 2007 (via his Trucredit). His denial letter was dated for January 10th. Should he wait 90 days from January 2, 2007 (the app date and credit pull) or January 10, 2007 (the date of the denial letter) I believe his DNB & EXP are enough for reconsideration now. (Being that he has a Home Depot $10,000 trade reporting and a paydex of 80...amongst other things.) I have search this for him but the serach doesn't (obviously) allow me to search for "90" Thanks Core One
  7. Hello CB'ers! I have really learned a lot by being on this board. The majority of my posts (the little I have) are in Business Credit, though. I have to ask fellow CB'ers their opinions: Likta Heur It? Heur It Go! (In Living Color) I am in the process of repairing my personal credit via all of the resources posted here. The challenge is that I am also in the process of persuing my childhood dream of being a State Trooper (Police Officer). One of the prerequisites for emloyment is that my credit be in good health - not perfect, just good health. My credit is ANYTHING BUT THAT!! The State mentioned that I should consider Credit Counseling to show the State that I am actively (and responsibly) fixing my credit and not running from my creditors. I know that sometimes credit counseling on your report is not a good sign. Not only that, but I would like to have some of the trades DELETED off of my report. If I choose counseling, I would not have that option because I will be making a deal with the creditors will make it impossible for it to be deleted. I also know that if I don't do something about this quick, fast and in a hurry about my credit (repair or counseling), by the time the State gets to my report, I'm a done deal Suggestions? CoreOne
  8. There are a number of referrals you may choose from on this particular post. If you wish to search, you may. Mine, however is: Core One Properties, LLC 7306 Liberty Road Baltimore, MD 21207-3809 (410) 580-2818 If you have any questions, you can PM me.
  9. Yes, they do add you to the account, and No, they don't mail you the card. The card, if an AU, will be mailed to the address of the Card Holder (their mailing/billing address). It doesn't make the OCH vulnerable because the account number is never given to the AU. The whole account number is not displayed on the credit report. Yes, the original card holder's addy will be link to your report with that tradeline. WRONG! Check out a TU report, they rarely truncate account numbers. On my TU report, every account is reported with the complete and accurate account/card number. Well, my TU report IS truncated. I'm not saying that it is this way on all reports. I'll check some more of my TU reports history and get back to ya!

  11. WOW!! Congrats! You must not have any baddies on your report left. If you do, they must be old. It's pretty good to know that others are breaking free of their limiting beliefs here! Congrats again!
  12. I have been a member since November. May you fix it for me, please. Thanx
  13. Do you know what your D&B #'s are? By #'s, I mean Paydex. How about experian? It's just like asking a doctor to give you a prescription without having the check-up. If you really don't want to buy something for the hell of it, maybe you can find someone who might need some small office items. There are more net 30's you can get that report to D&B and Experian. You must search the site. I have seen others get money from Home Depot on VERY young businesses with a D&B file of 5 and a Paydex. All that said, you must know where you are before you can get directions.
  14. Does anyone know of a list of suppliers IBM has, or is it on a case by case basis?
