  1. I am so confused! I changed jobs three years ago and got out of the Real Estate business and started teaching. My 40k a year can't handle this w/ one child in college and I'm working on my doctorate myself to try to make more money in the future. My head is under water and I just don't know what to do. I took a big pay cut to be there for my kids and plus the RE market was so slow. Although I don't regret my decision, I don't know what to do. I knew my ARM would adjust so I tried to be proactive. I went through NACA almost two years ago to get a refinance before my rate increased. My home wouldn't appraise for high enough due to foreclosures in my neighborhood. So we decided to move ahead w/ a modification.I can not make my mortgage payment now. The ARM loan has gone twice to nearly $1900 from $1400. I owe $156,000 on my home and am in negative equity. When the company was Countrywide, they proposed a reduction to $700 a month for 10 years, NACA refused this offer and wanted a permanent solution. This was 10/18/08. This would have provided some relief for quite a while, until I began making more money as I receive a 6k /yr increase once I complete my degree in a year. Now a year later I am still waiting. In the meantime, my husband's company closed and he has been on unemployment since January. BOA won't approve a modification bc unemployment is not stable. NACA is saying they may do a forbearance. My husband can't find a job and I am going crazy. I don't know what to do here. Part of me wants to walk away, or do a Deed in lieu of Foreclosure or something or should I just wait? Any advice....I'm Lost!!!

  3. I already have a mortgage with Countrywide that is an ARM at 9.95% on the 1st and 12.65% on the second mortgage totalling $157,000. My payments are $1400 with out taxes and insurance which really bring it up to $1650 a month. The ARM is scheduled to increase next year. I am attending a workshop next Sunday. What should I expect? I have all of my paperwork together. My husband is not on my current loan, so I don't know if he should go or not. His income contributes to our finances and my ability to pay the loan. Any thoughts or advice?

  5. I have the same CA on my report for a hospital bill. I have already typed up a pay for deletion letter, but not sure if I should send it, after reading this post. Maybe the goodwill approach would work, can you post the letter?
  6. Dont be sorry...its a start! It will get better as time passes! Atleast it wasn't a denial
  7. I just got approved for Home Depot $5,000 and Shell $500 yesterday 4 reporting on DnB no paydex 3 reporting on Experian 3yrs in business inc'd in June 06
  8. I still don't have a paydex on my corp. and have never paid late on any account and have alets that have shown up.
  9. Anyone who has applied for a Business Credit line with Mens Wearhouse---did you apply online, if so what is the link to the credit app. I can only find personal application.
  10. oops my Transunion has dropped too! By 14pts
  11. I just checked my credit scores and they have dropped drastically. My Transunion only changed a little but that is the only one that has been updated with a few deleted collections. I am a little discouraged today. I have gone through the same process with my DH and most of his bad stuff has been deleted. My file is so.... long and my new mortgage hasn't even shown up. I know this will happen but didn't expect it drop so much. My Experian was a 600... I thought I was making progress. I know it will all improve in the next few months, but didn't expect it to take a nose dive like this.
  12. EQ & EX are the slowest for me. Transunion has deleted 3 Collections and Updated 2. Not even an updated report from EQ & EX
  13. On my EQ report LJ Ross and Associates is reporting(as paid) 5 returned checks that I paid immediately. I am trying to get these deleted. I sent a letter of validation, and rec'd a response stating that they have no record of the account that I have referenced and want me to provide more information. What should I do next?
