  2. Which is the better company to purchase my tri-merge from these days...myfico.com and creditchecktotal.com use to be better ones. Is that still the case?

  4. Credit Boards helped me back in 2008/2009...had some hiccups last year and now ready start the repair process again. I've gone through the Newbies section. From what I'm seeing the process is the same and laws have not changed since. Or am I wrong? Is PsyhcDoc's and WhyChat's Process still applicable? Appreciate your help!
  5. Should I call the Finance company and tell them a case # is on its way. I haven't filed yet. Just took the means test and will be mailing off the paperwork to the courts by this Thursday. Repo guy came to work address but doesn't have house address. Car wasn't there and I told him we'd meet up later tonight. Since I don't have a case # yet can they still do the repo if I notify creditor that I'm filing? Should I just give repo guy the car now since I will not be reaffirming w/creditor? Thanks.
  6. Keep getting these text msgs to call this # with a passcode. The Caller Id says from 839660. Has my name on the message. Called it from a different phone but says "no messages in mailbox" Googled it and wirelessnotifications.com comes up but not much info. I entered #s on the site but an error message comes. Could this be bill collectors? Anybody else getting these?
  7. We are working on a Midland dispute for father-in-law. He recently moved back to US but was out of the country for almost 10yrs. The collection account is for a card that DH was using but eventually couldn't pay due to circumstances. Father in law lives in TX and we Dv'd Midland using the Texas law. Experian though is asking for copy of Social Sec card and proof of previous address. Will they accept the out of country address? Also I was wondering if we provided sufficient proof of out of country address that dates way back past Midland's charge off claim date will that help the dispute any? Or should we just respond back to Midland with a regualr second DV letter not mentioning the out of state status? Can he claim fraud and not pursue a fraud investigation? Your help is greatly appreciated! TIA
  8. I need to dispute a Midland Credit. Is it still better to use TX TFC laws for disputing a Texas resident account? TIA Vision
