  1. We'd really like to raise our prices and land more clients outside of the entertainment space and to do that we'd need to give clients a way to pay over 6-12 months. If we do this, we'd be accepting a pretty high amount of risk. I think that we can mitigate some of this risk through reporting. Is anyone familiar with the process? I don't need handholding as I know you have better things to do than help me out (lol) but are there any threads, websites or other trusted resources that could help me understand the process? Thanks in advance!
  2. so you're basically selling seo, web design and other related services but wrapped it up in the"how to get funding fast" language for consumption on this board. pretty clever i guess...
  3. I had an FA show up on all three reports one after disputing an account online some time ago. I took the same steps as stated above to remove the FA from my best report and let it remain on the other two. In my letter (sent CMRR) I stated that I never requested the FA and that it should be removed within 72 hrs of receipt and they complied. 4. Mine reported on EQ the day after I got the card. +25 point bump even though a damn collection showed up on EQ (that I dealt with last year on TU & EX) on the same day. Talk about a bittersweet victory.
  5. My NFCU VISA got approved on 3/14/08 but hasn't posted to my CRs as yet. My NFCU MC got approved a day later because they asked for docs and posted on EX on 3/21, TU on 3/23 and EQ on 3/25. What did they want - just paystubs? Was your MC approved for a higher amount than your Visa due to you providing docs? They asked for W-2s which I don't have so I offered 1099s which they said that would be fine. The way I remember it was, I initially asked for $20K CL for both and saw online that my VISA app was approved for $20K. On the MC file, it noted my app was "VOIDED" but after reading info on CB, I knew this wasn't really a problem because at the same time, they were asking for W-2s. I faxed them the materials and then they told me a day later I was approved for the MC too at what I had requested, $20K. I then asked them if they would consider a higher CL for both but turned me down saying this was all they could give me right now. I think if I had a higher FICO than 646 I could have gotten $35K each. Gotcha. Very cool.

  7. LOL So that's you sitting on my shoulder w/ the red outfit on huh?
  8. Three biz days or 3 days? The UWs won't decision over the weekend and 3 biz days is common when they are busy... OK I went ahead and applied for the Visa and got an instant approval @ $4k. So even after an instant approval - ya gotta wait to get UW approval?
  9. Sounds good. Are your eq scores pretty high?
  10. Looking at your impressive sig, I'm guessing that all they need to ask you is where you'd like your cards mailed - home or office. I actually think I'm going to wait until my Equifax is in the 620+ range since I'm not in a rush.
  11. Thanks guys. Great info. I'm definitely glad to see that they were flexible and accepted your 1099's.
  12. Hey all. I recently made the move and joined NFCU following the great advice on CB. ACtually getting the Welcome Packet and cards in the mail made my week Being self employed, I'm wondering if NFCU usually asks for pay stubs/ POI when extending credit or are approvals generally score based? I'm right at EQ 600 and thinking about going for one of the cards to help lower my utilization. What are your experiences w/ the approval process?
