I absolutely love to read, however; I am finding that my eyes are getting weak. I supposed from so much surfing the net. Other things I enjoy...traveling, shopping, photography, experiencing new restaurant, arts, and playing games.

    Good News!

Thanks everyone! The mortgage process is no joke and I'm so glad it's over.

    Good News!

I'm so thankful that we were able to close on our house on Wednesday. It was definitely a process, but it got done. I can't complain about 3.75% interest rate. Now to get it furnished and moved in. Anyone care to make donations? LOL!

    Closed!

    Congrats! That's awesome!
  4. I just consolidated with a different company in Dcemember. I should have stayed with Nelnet, lol. The new company will not provide a letter until after the IBR is complete. Sigh!
  5. I am in the same situation. I completed the IBR last Friday. However, my lender is telling me it takes 30-45 days to complete the application. What? I need an answer ASAP. We are due to close in April. The IBR put me right where I needed to be. The standard payments were just too high. I'll be praying for and with you.
  6. Maybe if he understands what his lack of credit is costing you he'll change his tune. I wished he did.
  7. Kunner, He doesn't have a lot of credit lines because he doesn't believe in credit cards. I've tried to get him to build a portfolio, but he refuses. He has two cars and one store card. The store card has only been open for less than a year. The cars were purchased in July.
  8. Thanks for your response, Brian and Newbie! Kuuner, The credit issues has nothing to do with him paying his obligations. He pays his obligations and on time. His credit score actually is better than mine. Every credit issue isn't because someone doesn't pay their obligations. He just hasn't established enough credit.
  9. We are in the process of buying a house. More like, we have selected a home, paid the earnest money and in the process of trying to get approved. Due to credit issues, I am the only one listed on the loan. Why can't I use my husband's income to help with my debt to income ratio. Between the two of us, we would have more than enough to cover the debt to income ratio. I've gotten everything out of my name except for credit cards and student loans.
  10. Congrats!!!! I am in the beginning stages of getting approved for a home loan. My BK will be discharged 3 years this month. I'm totally excited and nervous at the same time.
  11. Mine was closed as well because of a history of late payments. The only late payment I had was in December. It was an oversight. I paid it and the next month's at the same time. I have not missed a payment since. I called them this morning and the only they kept telling me was I could pay off the balance and reapply, but they could not reopen the current card. Um...exactly why would I reapply for a card you closed when you could reopen the one I have. I pass.
  12. Heck, I couldn't master breastfeeding in the nursery. How the heck this clown do it while driving and talking on the cell phone is beyond me. Either way, she is dumb as hell and need her azz whooped.
  13. I knew it! I knew it!! We can't take you and blackberry anywhere!! (However she deserved it and I woulda been there cheering you on...) I am so glad I do not post enough to be on this list. You know, I have had my share of come to Jesus moments and I must admit, I think Tee responded quite appropriately.
