I got a pre-approved loan offer from First Tech Federal Credit Union for up to $35,000 in the mail today. Does anyone have any experience with personal loans with this credit union? I know through the application process they give you the option for linking your bank account for income verification. I would sincerely appreciate if anyone can give me feedback on the loan process and if they require income verification. I can substantiate my income through bank statements but I don't receive regular paycheck stubs. I would prefer not to deal with verification at all. I have their MasterCard with a $10,000 limit and I use it for business purchases and I pay it down by $3,000 or $4,000 a month then usually charge back up each month. I've had very very large payments for the past 12 months with them.

got my Macys and Bloomindales increased to $13,000 each. Every five months I request $4,000 increase. Last time it was "call us" and this time it was automatic. My goal is $25,000 each. Both are Amex cards.

I started off with a $300 limit in January 2024 and increased twice in the past twelve months to $1000. I barely use my card and when I do I pay it off prior to the statement cycle date. I don't carry a balance so the high interest rates are ok with me.

I have their cash back card and to be honest I haven't used the card one time since I got it. No desire to.

I must say, I'm truly surprised that there's hardly any activity in the business forum. I was on this website back in 2005 through 2008 and this place was popping with information and now hardly anything current is being reported. I'm working on a new business that's been going for the last year and I'm making good money and trying to establish credit and I can't believe how difficult it is nowadays to establish business credit. I honestly think that the entire business credit game has changed significantly. I have a couple trade lines reporting to my Dun and Bradstreet and I'm on the verge of having a paydex score. Thankfully my Experian business report has a lot of accounts reporting. I came across an account called mudflap Visa then the approval process was so easy. The account is for fuel but is a Visa card. No personal guarantee required. I didn't get a very high starting limit but probably because I don't have a lot of business credit out there, but I was thankful to get the approval. I was also approved recently for a Fuelman card with a $5,000 starting limit and I got both of these without a paydex score. I also have an account with a company called Credit Jey and they're great. I love them. They have a virtual Visa card so that I can make purchases anywhere, with any merchant. I have a $5,000 limit and I paid it off several times. Credit Key says they report to all of the business credit bureaus but I have yet to see any reporting. Maybe they are just backlogged.

I have a brokerage account with Robinhood and I've been dabbling in cryptocurrencies. I have quite a few coins and I have their gold account. They kept sending me messages telling me I was pre-approved for their new credit card that just came out and I think it's through Coastal Community Bank. I was very hesitant on applying for the card because I figured I would get a $500 credit line or even disapproved with the 17 new accounts I have. I was pleasantly surprised that my account was approved with no hard inquiry. I looked at all of my credit reports and it shows a soft inquiry from Robinhood Credit. I was approved for $10,000. Through the process of setting up my account on their app, I had to upload a copy of my identification card and a selfie to prove who I am. Other than that it was a very seamless process. If anyone has a gold account with Robinhood I highly suggest they apply for the card. I think the entire process was less than 5 minutes. This really made my day. 💞💞💞

They are extremely difficult! Try (855) 414-6048. No promises! Hope it works. -
Has anyone successfully got their interest rate lowered?

I have a visa card with BECU and they lowered my interest rate by one lousy percent. Fortunately, I pay off my account every month so I don't pay interest on that account. -
FEMA asking me to re-pay $2000 back from 2005

Section 302: Statute of Limitations: This section reinstates the three-year statute of limitations on FEMA's ability to reclaim funds, based on a change in policy determination, after a state or local government has spent the funds on previously-determined eligible projects and when there is no evidence of fraud, waste. -

I'm not sure how it works with the government but I think the statue of limitations may have run out on them trying to collect a debt from 2004. That's 21 years old. My mother owes the IRS from the early 1980s and it haunted her for many years. It's policy of the IRS to obtain a ten year tax lien and it can only be extended another ten years. After twenty years it must be dismissed and that's what the IRS did in my mother's situation. It may be something similar for this. After all it's more than twenty years old. -
I wonder what bureau they pull. In my previous experience with FNBO when I got my overstock MasterCard they pulled Experian and when I got the Rakuten MasterCard they pulled Equifax.

Capital One Closed My Brand New Account

Sounds federal which is not expungable. Only by pardon of the president. -
I've had my Navy card for 13 months now. Started off secured and at 5 months they unsecured it and increased my limit and I just hit the increase button yesterday and got another $8,000 out of them automatically.
