  3. FNBO (Sheetz) Visa CLI, $25k>>>$40k. Requested $50k. EXP HP & requested last 2yrs tax returns. Edited to add: Also called NFCU & asked for my Platinum rate to be lowered...10.74%>>>7.74%.
  4. Thank you, Kat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you, Mec. I spoke privately with Breeze initially about it & haven't been on much. I was so sad yesterday when I saw that she is gone. I have been here since '05 & she was never anything but kind[emoji29]
  6. Haven't been doing much since my husband died, but I accepted an Amex Cash Magnet pre-approval & asked for a couple of CLIs 2 days ago... Amex CM CL: $20k NFCU: $25 --> $35k Home Depot: $25k --> $50k
  7. Thanks, BP[emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Requested online to go from $23,500 to $50k, received notice of TU & EXP frozen via USPS, called in to tell them EXP isn't frozen, HP & CLI to $36k. No SP for me, but it was worth the HP. Trying to get this card up hasn't been quick, but has been steady. Congratulations on all the increases, y'all😊

Why not just close the checking acct to avoid fees & bide your time. Won't cost you anything that way. I had my share acct open with a small amount sitting there for 8yrs before they approved me for a cc on my third app. Really depends on if you want to wait. As Hege asked, what reasoning have they given for the denial(s)?
  10. Congratulations[emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. I've read before that every six months you can call FNBO and ask for a soft pull CLI. All they ever tell me is to FOAD.I have an FNBO store branded cc that started at $1500 in 2012. Got a few $1500 auto-cli throughout the first 5yrs. Requested a cli online, gave up a HP & they gave me the $25k that I asked for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. tdslf, My heart goes out to you for your loss. My husband died suddenly in November, so I can relate to what you're going through. Losing a spouse is difficult enough without these kind of things happening. We had no joint accounts either, so I am not responsible for them. I went to a local branch of his bank & they closed his checking account/gave me the money after I gave them a copy of his death certificate. When you get the death certificate to them, they should release the funds to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I gave up on Discover & closed it this Summer. Had the card since '08 & couldn't get it over $10k. I don't miss it. Sounds like a good plan on the house/refi options. Hope all goes well, either way[emoji4]
