As a credit analyst, we were taught that consumer credit counseling was the next step on the way to declaring a bankruptcy. So, in my opinion, Consumer Credit Counseling has a negative impact on a consumer credit file.

  18. I don't believe each processor still retains their own policies. I don't think any state has changed their laws pertinent to the use of Credit or Debit cards. It had long ago become nothing more than a for arguments. None of us wanted to monitor arguments, so, we left it in place and made it read only. There may be other members who have new information and I'm sure they will be delighted to try and help.
