  2. I got the $300, bringing my line up to $3200--still my lowest. CSR said if I used the card they would "work with me" a little bit more. I haven't used the card in over a year.
  3. Got the "re-opened" card today. As I suspected, it's now a Verizon card instead of the defunct GTE. I also noticed it had an annual fee of $20, which I did not have when I originally had the card. I called to activate and asked if I could convert it to a different card. CSR said yes, but only another Verizon card. Said they had gold or platinum I could choose from. Neither have the annual fee, so I opted for the Platinum. I may call again when I get the new "platinum" card and ask if I can convert it to a regular Citi card. Anyone have any luck converting the "Verizon" branded cards into regular Citi cards? I converted a Universal AT&T card into the DPS two years ago without any problems.

  7. Wow, I didn't know they could do that. I had a GTE (Citi--I think i t was Associates at the time) card back in college that I opened in 98, but closed it a few years before I found CB. Who did you call to get this reopened, and what kind of info did they need? you need the card number. they wont budge without it. I gave them a few lost/stolen card numbers and they got me the card in 5 days It hasnt reported yet though. call any of the citibank credit card customer service numbers. Found the account number and just called. The CSR said that she would put in a request and I would know within 7-10 business days if it was approved. We'll see. I'll let you all know what happens. They reopened it, but they pulled a hard on EX (which I knew was going to happen) Not sure what card I'm going to be sent, but when I closed it, it was a GTE Visa issued by Associates.

  11. I was not able to pay (transfer) the balance on my BOA Platinum Visa online--couldn't find the button that used to be "pay from another financial institution." I called and the CSR laughed and said the web site was all messed up. She took my payment over the phone and waived their $15 fee. I asked if it was going to be fixed by the next month, and she said maybe... Gotta love their sense of humor in all of this.

  14. I've tried converting any of the 3 cards I now have with BOA to the Merrill+ card and the 4 CSRs I've talked to say they cant convert anything into that card. I can apply for the Merrill+, and move my credit line(s), but why would i want another inq, especially on EX.
  15. consider yourself corrected *grin* IF they were reporting "WAS 30 days late", that would be correct. However, per the OP, they're reporting that he's CURRENTLY 30 days late. I'd fire off an ITS, include copies of all letters you've sent them and received from them...and inform them that they have 10 days to correct it, or they'll be served. I knew it was too early to be posting... Next time I should read the OP a little more closely...
