  1. I had a credit card that was charged of December 2018. The balance is $1700. I can pay it in full but want the most effective change made to my credit. The card is through Wells Fargo. They said they would not pay for deletion which would be ideal. I can pay the full balance, but I’d like to not do that if I can. Would settling the balance have a lesser positive impact on my score? What is my best option for resolving this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This is immensely helpful. I was wondering about rehabilitation v consolidation and the pros of one or the other. I started the process of rehabilitation and signed up for the payments to be auto drafted. My payments owed were very very low, but I don’t think they’ve been drafted, I guess due to the covid extensions. I may look into consolidation though, so I can build it as a positive account, if the cost of doing so is comparable. Thank you!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Awesome, thank you for the advice. I did make payments recently to the Wells Fargo card. Does this extend the 7 year period, as some people have suggested to me? I will turn my attention to the student loans and discover ways to lessen their impact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I have a credit card account with Wells Fargo of $1800 that was charged off in October of 2014. They are reporting missed payments every month, even now. I could pay it off relatively quickly, but Im getting the idea that the account being paid would have minimal positive affect on my credit. I have never really concerned myself with my credit, being fresh out of high school that year and then into college, and spending the last two years working on a cruise ship. Now I’m settling in post covid and looking to the future and hopefully a house one day. I want to get this account resolved with t
