  1. So I want to buy something for about $3,500 and I can do a store credit card with 0% financing. That will take my CC utilization from almost nothing to really high. Is that going to put a big knock on my credit score or are these "promo financing" deals with fixed payments somehow reported differently to the credit agencies? Seems like a lot of people do that and you need good credit to get approved for that stuff (48 months no interest etc.) but taking advantage of that means a high balance for quite awhile, so surely it doesn't hurt things much? I've been working on getting a good score for
