  1. Fortunately, I checked yesterday morning and I assume it either auto deleted, or after my previous call with a supervisor, she deleted it because it is now removed. Also, I normally would do these early deletions online which has always worked instantly. However, TU changed something on there dispute site (the link used to be "dispute.transunion.c0m" but it is now "services.transunion.c0m"), where at least for me, the collection account I wanted to dispute was not listed anywhere on the online credit report. It appeared as if I had a clean credit report. That's why I called initial
  2. Thanks DPB. I have not had any success as of yet with early deletes over the phone with TU, so maybe I am doing something wrong. I mentioned that the account is to old to be on my account, and ask if it can be deleted early, and they tell me it will be deleted in April 2021. I have called 3 times now and also talked to a supervisor. What should I say/request when I call for an early deletion. I know we may get different results, but can anyone share what worked for them? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are correct; I have seen TU auto delete some obsolete accounts early. That is actually the reason I called. I had gotten updated reports that showed the accounts earlier that day, so I thought maybe they dropped it early automatically. However, when the rep said both were still there I was confused. I even thought maybe TU was removing being able to dispute negative accounts online and maybe that's why they weren't showing. It's weird. Also thanks for the heads up about the free annual CR per week. I just learned that yesterday
  4. I know that we shouldn't dispute online. However, I went to Transunion's online dispute because I was only wanting to dispute an account for early deletion. Earlier this year anytime there was an account scheduled to be deleted 6 months or less, I disputed on their online dispute site and it would be removed as soon as I hit Enter on my keyboard. I did it at least 5 times on my wife's and mother's TU CR. Immediately after hitting enter, I would check the results and it would show every account I disputed that was due to be deleted within 6 months, as DELETED. So it worked beautiful
  5. My wife was looking for a new card and used the Bank of America prequalified card link and it recommended a Bank of America Travel Rewards card. I assume it did a soft pull on her TU since it had to be unfrozen prior to returning any "recommendations." I searched CreditPulls and saw approval scores between 700-805, and her FICO 8 is currently about 640, but TU FICO 4 is 702. So I was confused how it would recommend that particular card. So does anyone know if BofA uses TU FICO Score 4 for credit cards apps? Thanks and God bless
  6. Thank you all for the responses. It seems that it can be immediately, even before the card arrives, or up to a monh. Based upon this, I am curious if NFCU reports all there cards on the same date, maybe the beginning of the month. In the cases that it reported almost immediately, if you had a balance, did it report with your current balance as of the reporting date? Also did it report the same date in subsequent months? Thanks again and God bless
  7. Tyra made some previous suggestions that if you get it done too late in the month, it doesn't always hit the first month. I obviously don't know where that cut-off period would fall. 8. In particular, I am asking to find out how long it takes the CCs to report? If you reply, do you mind sharing; when you aplied and about how long after you applied that it first reported. Thanks & God bless

  10. A few pages back, someone asked about CUs. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Delta CU. About 8-9 years ago, I may have " had a CC and LOC charged off for about $15k each, that wasn't paid/settled. I think they pulled EQ whch is my lowest, and waiting for tax lien to be withdran/deleled.. Otherwise clean. So I was wondering if anyone knew if they had a blacklist for their credit products. Thanks in advance.
  11. Hello, There is a few scenarios at which to look. Most business credit is not score driven primarily but a combination of your personal credit profile. One of the factors, is length of credit history, which you say you just started building your credit history. Of course the creditors want to see established credit to show that you are capable of handling your exisitng credit, in particular revolving credit. As for as the score, the higher the better, however depending on the strength of the rest of your profile if you are in the 680+ range then you may be okay. With that, the approva
  12. This also happened to me recently and I wish I would have only lost 30 points. Collection popped up on my report with a date open of 12/06 and a report date of 12/07 and my score dropped from 757 to 665. So I will get this deleted of my reports very soon. God Bless
  13. Apparently, when you have your EX frozen your CR will not be able to accessed through a third party provider that relies on your EX for information. When my EX was frozen, I could not sign up for CCT/CreditCheck Total. As well I noticed that PM would no longer have any EX info when I pulled. I unfroze my EX for 2 days so one of my creditors could pull it, and during that time I went back to CCT and was able to sign up. In addition for those 2 days, PM listed my EX information. Interestingly enough, even when it is frozen, CCT and AMEX CS, because they are EX based products can access my CR
  14. Congrats on the removal of the collection. Maybe I missed it but I seem to have read quite a bit lately about disputing EQ inqs. I read some that called to dispute; is this the best way to do it? If so what are you telling them to dispute multiple inqs, so that it won't cause a FA? TIA & God Bless I don't call, I go thru the website WITH NO REPORT # AND JUST DISPUTE AS NOT MINE. But I only do this with EQUIFAX and it does not cause a fraud alert. If a new account pops up before you dispute then they won't remove and they'll just send you a copy of your report and explain th
