  1. Didn't even know there was a 4th report, wow. Got it. ty
  2. Is there a reason this needs to be done with hard copy reports vs reports I can view on myfico? Is it different information?
  3. Slowly but surely seeing changes. From myfico as of 5/18... Equifax 604 !! Experian 575 Transunion 526 All I have done so far is pay off discover, credit one, and get my car current. But got a new collection of a citi commercial card I had long forgotten about (ugh). Thanks for the advice so far yall, still working at it and trying to figure this all out.
  4. Thank you, going over that google sheet now! Oh, won't that be beautiful! I just signed up today, any way I can get you a kick back by registering from your referral? The budget is in the works, and I am about to pay discover and credit1 to 0 today and bring car current. Won't leave a lot of cash but I have help. Also the looking at the DR now, very strongly considering bringing rent to 0... but that seems so drastic. Either way, even without reducing rent I can lower other expenses. I can definitely try that, from what I've seen on my little bit of research Cap1 and First Premier don't really do PFD, but it can't hurt to try with them or the others! Appreciate everyone's feedback, truly. Really can't wait to fix this.
  5. The only Credit cards that have not charged off are the credit 1 and discover.
  6. Hey everyone, Looking forward to building good habits and fixing the mess I've made!
  7. Yep, I did my worst. I'm in TX.
  8. Got it, pay the credit1 and discover off. Do you think calling Discover would help my chances of it not being shut down? It's also a discover secured card. I'll look into the 2 new cards. I will see if NFCU will let me do a secured card, and whoever else..
  9. Yes, I have made an awful filthy mess of my credit. Cap1 Car is showing up as a charge off even though it was not a repossession. They offered me a settlement for the last 2 months of the loan. I paid it and retained the car and title. Student loan is IBR $0 payment and Deferred for Defense to Repayment Review... Generally lasts 2 years I believe. MoneyLion and Possible are short term loans.. I'm not sure if they're the same as payday? I got a $900 loan and make 4 payments of 244. Natl Finance is when I worked in public sector as a temp, they continued covering my health insurance even after the job was complete and they put it on my credit. When I went back to work they took the previously paid premiums out of my check, and the debt was completely paid off. They even gave me a check because they took too much money. The Dept. of Ag collection for $0 is a duplicate tradeline of natl finance. They should all read $0 Paid collection.
  10. 5 years, can't say that I'm surprised. The Cap1 was sold to Portfolio Recovery. Should I try and settle with the CA? I have enough cash atm to pay off the 2 cards and get my car current.. but I didn't know whether I should focus that cash on the collections. Some of which are very wrong. Like the Natl Finance is when I worked in public sector as a temp, they continued covering my health insurance even after the job was complete and they put it on my credit. When I went back to work they took the previously paid premiums out of my check, and the debt was completely paid off. They even gave me a check because they took too much money. The Dept. of Ag collection for $0 is a duplicate tradeline of natl finance. They should all read $0 Paid collection. The Med Product is wrong as well. It was a service they told me I was unqualified for, wouldn't let me do it. Then they came back and said they looked it over again and I was qualified and wanted my payment information. Never gave it, never got the service/product. They put it on my credit.
  11. Hey everyone, It's been a crazy year for me, lots of financial things went on. At this point I am trying to get my credit in shape and get to a point where I can buy and afford a home. My current situation.. I just started a job making 50-55k. My expenses that I'm currently paying are $600 for rent/utilities, $375 car note, and I have 2 open cc's that are maxed but low balances. Credit profile is as follows. I have no clue what to pay and what to wait out. What will benefit my credit the most? How long do you think it would reasonably take before I could look at buying a home?
