  1. Sorry, there's two accounts I'm talking about and I'm afraid I haven't been clear as to which one I am asking about. I'm currently waiting to see if that one gets cashed so I'm not worried about it. However, the other account is the one I'm talking about. I sent the original dispute letter, they sent their standard response. I sent the medical DV to the CA and they responded with a generic "as you know we're collecting blah blah blah" but did not include any verification documents to show a valid business agreement with the OC. So I sent the follow up dispute to the CRA and they responded with "This is a valid debt" and added tot eh comments that I dispute it but did not provide any further information. So, I'm not sure what the next step is here. I'm not sure if I'm missing something on the website.
  2. My question was in regards to the followup dispute sent after the medical dv. I sent the medical DV and they did not respond with a valid response. I sent the follow up dispute to the CRA informing they I had disputed with the CA per their instructions and they responded simply with they've verified the it as true and accurate. Is there no avenue to continue without proving there is a valid business agreement in place?
  3. Yes, I sent the follow up dispute to the CRA and all their response was informing me again that they verified as true and accurate and updated the additional information to include a comment that I dispute the information. They did not provide any information as requested. Yes, the for the one that was paid was for service after my bankruptcy was discharged.
  4. So for the ARS account that did not provide a valid response to the medical debt DV I sent the follow up dispute to the CRA and they just replied with "We've verified this account as accurate". All they did was update the comments to show Consumer Disputes This Account Information. How do I proceed if they don't furnish the information and I can't verify an active business agreement between the CA and the OC? Do I continue on to the next step anyways?
  5. Thanks, will do. I hope that it is delivered. They didn't try again today, my guess is it's being held for pickup or they have to arrange for redelivery. I guess the post office will hold it until the 28th of May. The stay at home order was just extended to May 15th in my state although it could be extended again. I guess I'll wait it out and see what happens.
  6. Thanks for the response. I did call the facility and they did confirm they issued the billing statement on 3/16/2020 to provide to the CA in response to my request for verification of the debt. Since this confirmed there was a valid current business relationship I went ahead and sent the HIPAA letter with insert A and full payment via cashiers check CMRR to the facility yesterday. Unfortunately, they tried to deliver today and it says the wasn't a representative that could sign for it. So now I have to wait and see if there will be tomorrow. If not, can I call the compliance department to find out who I should send this to directly? As for the ARS account that did not send a valid response to me, I've sent the CRA the follow up dispute so waiting to see how they respond to that. I'm hoping they delete it, as it was already deleted from the other two CRAs but I know they all do their own thing so we'll see what happens. Thanks again for the help @Why Chat !
  7. I'm sorry about the late response. I definitely should have provided you some more detail as well. They sent me a copy of the signed "Condition of Admission and Treatment" from 10/2016. They also sent me a billing statement from the facility with a billing date of 3/16/2020. Does the billing statement from the facility prove the current business relationship? I'm assuming so and if so then I can proceed with sending the hipaa letter with insert a, correct? As for ARS, since their letter provides no proof there is a current relationship, I would proceed with the follow up dispute to the CRA?
  8. Okay, so Revsolve sent me a validation with a copy of the stuff from the provider. So I will be paying that directly to the OC using the insert in the letter for that. However, ARS sent me a letter that just says "As you are already aware, we represent so and so... ARS has verified this information with our client, and confirmed the outstanding balance." They have not sent any other type of verification. That's not a valid response right? So I would send the follow-up letter to the CRA, right? It's weird because two of the CRAs deleted this with the initial letter but one didn't.
  9. Oh okay. So their letter stating they confirmed it was a valid debt is to be considered an invalid response, correct? So I would not include the "attached letter" line and instead state "This letter is being sent to you in response to your recent fraudulent verification of an unknown medical account on my (name of CRA) report" Sorry, I don't mean to bother you. I just want to make sure I do this correctly.
  10. Awesome, thank you. Another question. For the medical DV the guide states to send a letter for each CRA the CA is reporting to. However, nothing in the letter differentiates the CRA. Does that matter or are we just sending it multiple times? Also, for this line here. What is considered an invalid response? This letter is being sent to you in response to your attached letter. ( DO NOT USE THIS SENTENCE IF THE ACCOUNT IS REPORTING AND YOU RECEIVED ANY INVALID RESPONSE FROM THE CA AS A RESULT OF YOUR INITIAL DISPUTE)
  11. Oh! Gotcha, sorry. Thanks for the info. I'll go ahead and draft those letters. I did receive a letter from one of the CA today stating "The information we have available to us indicates that this account is valid and remains unpaid." Which is annoying because this is the one where they report to TU that it's an open collection account but report to EXP that it was IIB. Quick question about the medical DV. Next to date where it says PM# does that stand for priority mail? Sorry if that's dumb, couldn't figure out what else it could be.
  12. Yes, the accounts that were IIB are showing as such. For these I do not need to send the medical DV to the CA, correct? The one that was not, is still showing as a open collection. For this one, I would send the medical DV to the CA, correct? Yes, when Dispute letter was sent, I included a copy of the report with the accounts circled. All 3 of these accounts are on the new Exp. report they sent to me, so I'm assuming that means they verified them.
  13. So, I received a response from Equifax yesterday. They requested a copy of my driver's license and social security card in order to process my dispute. Said they "couldn't locate a credit file with the information provided." So, I made copies and sent them priority mail yesterday. Received a response from Experian today. It's a new credit report, it appears they did nothing because all of the accounts are still on there. So, I'll proceed to the next step in the plan. I have a question though, if the account was included in my bankruptcy is the next step the dispute to the CA or the letter to the OC with the insert?
  14. I was pleasantly surprised to see TU removed one of the 3 collections account from my report this morning. Do I need to worry about it coming back later? Still waiting to see what happens with the other two CAs.
