  1. From the letter I got in July, capital one reached out to them to collect my balance. I was out of town when they tried to give me paperwork so I don't know and not sure how to find that out. At the bottom of their letter is attorneys at law, but communication from a debt collector
  2. I have about 3k in debt from capital one, it went to collections and now I have a law office trying to summon me and honestly I'm freaking out. Idk what to do. I know I should have never ignored the calls but it looks like I'm past that now....I don't know who to contact to get this settled, I don't want to go to court, I want to try and start paying this off.. I'm absolutely terrified.. Can anyone please help me figure out my first steps?
