  1. Several years ago I had a car loan with a credit union. I had switched the insurance company and somehow the credit union didn't receive the document. You know what happens in that case. The credit union added their own insurance at much higher rate. I kept on making my minimum payment unaware of this situation. Several months passed by and I was hit 5 late fee payments and at least two 30 days late were reported to the credit bureaus. When I knew about the issue, I submitted the correct documents and the bank insurance was removed. Those two 30 days late payments still show up on my report. I filed a dispute with all three credit bureaus explaining the situation and they all came as verified. What is the best course of action in case? You advice is appreciated.
