  1. I didn't sign an agreement. I spoke with them over the phone about setting something up. Does that count as a signature or do you mean an actual signature?. Maybe i will do an arb with walmart/sync only since i've only spoke with them over the phone and no motions have been filed on their side. Tell me your thoughts. Thanks for your response

  3. Hi again I am interested in going into an arbitration with portfolio recovery associates for a walmart/synchrony account. The balance is 1300. Is it worth going through the process? It's fine for me to file it online correct? What reason do I use when arbitrating. (Sorry I am new to this) I also have another account with PRA for luxury/synchrony bank but they served me court papers and decided to set up a payment arrangement. Is it too late to arbitrate with them? Thanks for your help
  4. The whole divorce was a disaster. I don't believe it said anything as to regards of payments. It said that he had sole possession of the home. I can find out but I doubt it said anything other than that.
  5. So even though the portfolio account with synchrony bank I already started making payments and i was served a court document i should still go ahead with the arb?

  7. Good morning, I am writing this on behalf of a family member. She went through a nasty divorce in 2009 and had to vacate the home. The ex husband still resides in the home, however he has paid the mortgage late consistently and the house is always going into pre foreclosure. Because he refuses to sell the home her name remains on the mortgage and her credit score is horrible because of this. Is there any way to remove her off of this so she can try to salvage her credit? Can it be reported to the credit bureaus?
  8. Thank you. Should I try paying the ticket with the state? Its been about a year... Or should I just pay the collection agency? So I should file an arbitration with Portfolio collections? How do I go about doing so. I did not sign anything only set it a plan over the phone.... So with Comcast and Sprint how do I tackle that? Thanks for the help
  9. Hi guys I am newer to this forum and have been reading up on some topics for a while. However there is so much information I am a little lost. I am trying remove some of my collection accounts from my credit score which is currently low 500. I would like to fix up my credit to better myself. I have collections accounts posted with three companies 1) One is with Portfolio for sync bank. I disputed it previously on my report but that didnt work. I set up payment with the company and gave them my information. I have made 2 payments so far but have a year to pay them. It is too late to ask for a delete after payment is finished? Should I continue to pay them. They served me papers so instead of going to court i decided to pay. The account is a little over a year old. 2)The second is a comcast bill sent to colllections. The comcast bill is about 2 years now. I havent contacted them on this one. 3)The third is a sprint bill placed in collections as well. I havent contacted anyone or filed any disputes. 4) I also received a bill florida red light ticket from January 2017. Should I pay it before it shows up on my report? Should I dispute it? I am in Maryland by the way I would really like some advice on what steps to take. I am in a better financial situation now and would really like to improve my score. Any help is appreciated.
