  1. The collections have been removed. Thank you!!!
  2. The CRA letters are sent to the mailing address for disputes, correct? Do I sign these letters or just type my name? I'm an not using a third party credit report company, but I will obtain new reports anyway.
  3. EX and TU are still reporting the collection as unpaid. I will proceed with the next HIPPA letter. Do I need to obtain new reports, or can I use the ones from last December?
  4. Just spoke to the billing office. The check was deposited on 3/14/19 and posted to the account on 3/20/19. Next step to remove it from EX and TU?
  5. EQ- collection account has been deleted. EX and TU- cashier's check based on EOB has not been cashed and the account is still reporting on EX and TU. Next step?
  6. Collection reporting to EQ: The medical DV was received by the CA on 2/21 and the CRA f/u was received by EQ on 2/24. I received an email from EQ stating that my dispute is open. Next step? Do I wait until I receive another email from EQ saying it's been closed? Collection reporting to EX and TU: The HIPPA letter and payment based on the EOB was sent to the OC today.
  7. I have sent the medical DV, as well as the HIPPA letter to the OC for which I have the EOB. Should I not sign into my EQ credit monitoring account for any reason?
  8. All three CRA have verified the accounts. I was going to proceed with the Medical DV and follow up CRA letters, but I have a question. I have received bills from the CAprior to sending the initial dispute letter, but the $ amount does not match the EOB. So do I send the HIPPA letter to the OC with the payment reflected on the EOB, or still continue with the medical DV and follow up CRA letters? Thank you
  9. Whychat, here is my last question that got missed. Thank you.
  10. Headnic789 can you please start your own thread. It's going to get very confusing if you're asking questions on mine. Thanks.

  12. I received mail from TU today stating the account is "Verified as accurate and updated." The remarks say "Acct info disputed by consumer." This is the account for which I do not have the final EOB. It's for the treating emergency room physician. This account is ONLY reflected on TU. The account from the hospital is showing on EX and EQ. Proceed with sending the CA the medical DV and the CRA(s) the follow-up dispute?
  13. I also just received an email from EQ saying my reinvestigation has been started and with links to Out In or Opt Out of online delivery.
  14. The EQ letter was finally delivered yesterday. I just received an email from EX that my dispute is complete. I should NOT view it online, correct? Wait for the mailed letter? TY
  15. Ok. I received an email from EX today saying my dispute is open and should be completed by 2/6/19.
  16. The EQ letter still says "In Transit". All three reports had already listed Consumer Disputes this Account, which I assume is from my previous online disputes. Thank you.
  17. Hello, The EX and TU letters were delivered within a couple of days. The EQ letter arrived in Atlanta on 1/4/19 and for some reason, has yet to be delivered. I will call the post office tomorrow, but should I go ahead send another one? Also, I have an EQ credit monitoring account. Will this create any issues?
  18. Do you have to be a NFCU member to get the card and BT offer? The closest military relative I have is a cousin. If so, are there any other good credit union BT offers?
  19. Why Chat, I have mailed the initial dispute letters to the three agencies per the instructions. I am still trying to get the EOB from Humana for one of the medical bills I am disputing. I was initially told it was in archives and I needed to send a written request. I have now sent two written requests and called about five times. I keep being told that they will mail another one out, but I never receive it. Is there anything I can do to put pressure on them? I am no longer insured with Humana. The EOB is for the hospital, not the treating doctor. Would the hospital have a copy? Thank you!
  20. Why Chat, I have drafted the initial dispute letters and I have a question about the account number. Each credit report reflects a partial number, i.e. 123XX. I do have the full number from the CA correspondence. Do I include the full account number on the initial dispute letter or only what is reflected on the respective reports?
  21. Without a zero percent offer, I plan on paying off the HELOC in three years max.
  22. I'm getting ready to pay off the CC debt with a HELOC loan. I will then have $66,000 in available revolving credit (not including the HELOC). How much credit is too much and lowering my score? I have one card that is less than a year old with a $5k limit. Should I close it?
  23. They did not send a paper bill, only email and I never received it. They confirmed that I did not open the email. I probably had the card for 10 years when this happened and never missed a payment.
  24. I have a single 30-day late payment on my report from March of 2014. It's from Macy's and long story short, I rarely used the card and for some reason made a $20 purchase on it. The balance was $20 and they said they emailed me the statement. I never got it and they even admitted that they did not show that I opened the email. I wrote to corporate and all, but they would not remove the 30-day late. I vowed to never shop there again and closed the account in Sept. 2014, even though I had the card for several years. Is it possible, or even worth trying to get it removed at this point? It is the only late payment on my reports.
  25. Just to confirm, I am not sending the initial dispute letter per this statement: This letter should ONLY be used AFTER the initial dispute letter has provided you with a documented current relationship between the Health Care Provider and the reporting CA. I am starting with the HIPPA Letter to the Health Care Provider, correct?
