  1. Hello all. I was a memeber of this forum many, many moons ago. I have recently come across an issue on my credit report that I have not dealt with yet. I found a CA was reporting the same debt twice under different business names. The business was bought out by another company. There is another instance where an original creditor closed my account (car i totaled and havent finished paying off)the company was bought by another credit union, low and behold another entry for this account was made, and as an opened account. My gut tells me this isn't legal in the credit world. Any insight? Suggestions for the best plan of attack for removal?
