  1. I mailed the dispute to Transunion with the extension agreemen... to my surprise today the 1 late mark is deleted. With Experian & Equifax I disputed online yet it still shows. I received the dispute reply from Experian with the late mark. I'm guessing maybe trying to dispute it by mail with the rest of the bureau's to see if it works better.
  2. The document was made early April after they had reported me late. I didn't know about it as I was informed due to the pandemic they were helping consumers. I don't think they had the extention option in March because they verbally said they'd give me time to pay and then in April it's when they were giving out these extension. Aside from that they billed me a late fee, which I didn't complain about. Most creditors are working with consumers waiving fees, etc. Yet my extension includes March and April. I contacted their executive offices, they deny help. Won't remove it on goodwill. Then, I mentioned the agreement to them. Lady said it was done after they reported late. They don't want to delete a late mark, saying it's impossible... I submitted the document to the burau's.
  3. Yes, my signed doc says it's for 3/1 and 4/1. To pay 5/1 that it's been extended.
  4. Do you have a sample of that letter? They don't want to remove my 1 late mark and it's due to covid-19.
  5. My auto loan by Santander Consumer USA reported a 30 day late mark for March 2020 on my credit report. Before they reported this I had contacted them and they said they were assisting customers due to the pandemic. They agreed I could make my payment later and that I wouldn't have any lateness reported. I sent them a letter to request the removal of the late mark. I have a perfect 100% punctual payment record with them for over a year. This is the one late mark and it's due to a pandemic. After seeing they didn't remove I filed a dispute with the credit bureau as one of their reps suggested. I then received a letter from them stating the following: We have investigatedyour dispute and verified the information provided to the National Credit Reporting Agencies is accurate. It is our policy to report allcustomer accounts to the credit reporting agencies in a consistent and accurate manner. On the bureau dispute they also left the late mark for March and updated my newer payments. How can I get this late mark removed?
  6. I’ve had my auto loan with Santander Consumer for 6+ months. I want to refinance like the dealer suggested to lower my payments. I pay $650 monthly and it’s $612 due every month. I have to confirm this information but I think the apr is at 17.05% & CL is $27,292.08 Who should I refinance with?
  7. Great tip! I'm using these cards for things like this from now on for the protection. My bank denied the claim twice and now closed my bank accounts. If this were those cards I'm sure I'd have the money back especially with the proof I sent them.

  9. Hi, yes I did find my agreement with Enterprise where it clearly shows my initials declining this damage waiver. I submitted this document as evidence to Suntrust, my bank with the rebuttal form and they denied it like they didn't even look through it. Now, Suntrust closed both my bank accounts in consequence of this. I had requested the documentation Enterprise provided my bank with they were promised many times. Months went by and I never received anything. Enterprise also didn't provide any documents but just an invoice. Enterprise says they escalated to the regional office yet I don't hear from them.

  11. Recently they applied for a bank card but the letter in the mail says there is no credit score available on Equifax, the bureau they used to make the decision. So it seems the card can't be opened due to that.
  12. This is what the rental company said: It looks like the insurance company covered the rental from December 13th until December 17th. From December 18th to December 26th, it looks like the main renter was responsible for the rental charges. I am also showing the Damage Waiver was added to the rental for an additional $21.99 per day. It looks like the insurance company did not cover the Damage Waiver. The total the main renter was responsible for with taxes and fees included was $566.04. They are charging me for a damage waiver. They told me in person that the same insurance I covered the car while I rented it, so that would be free. Yet I returned the vehicle in perfect condition. I was also informed by them that my insurance agreed to pay after that given date above. So now they're trying to charge me extra and the insurance is trying to leave me with this bill. The car supposedly cost $23.99/day. I had to return it on the 26th due to the holidays and their location being closed. I'm waiting on the documentation the bank has about this dispute.

  15. My car insurance carrier is the same insurance carrier of the at-fault driver... I have progressive select and he has progressive american insurance co.
  16. I don't recall if I used my pin. I provided my card for the $50 refundable deposit as a requirement. The insurance (Progressive) would take care of the payments. I gave them my card because it was refundable. I offered cash too but I think they didn't accept it. I was billed around 6 or more times by the Merchant. I'm not supposed to pay anything. I returned the car in perfect condition. The insurance is paying directly. Seems they want to make more money off of me. The car is $23.99/daily and I only had it for a few days and I'm being charged more than it costs, more than my monthly insurance, more than a financed car monthly payment. Yet the insurance is paying for it so I shouldn't even be billed...
  17. It’s for a car rental that the auto insurer is responsible for as my car was totaled by an at-fault driver. I have proof of the rental reservation they made (which they sent via text) and I also have a receipt showing the car is $23.99/day. Progressive is supposed to pay for the rental. I, however, provided my card as it was a requirement for a $50 refundable fee. So I didn’t provide authorization to be billed but I’m concerned they’ll use my deposit to dispute my rebuttal. It’s a lot of money that they charged me and I need this refund. Currently, my bank refunded me other transactions from them for $261.98 but then they denied this recent one which is for two charges of $204.06 and $100.00 that I disputed together plus 3 overdraft transaction from my bank for $36. Right there that’s $304.06 charged by the rental company and $108.00 in bank fees. The rebuttal form that I need to complete says: Please provide all new and relevant information to this case that was not provided at the time the claim was opened below that should be considered to reopen your case. The denied dispute letter said: During our investigation, we determined that no error occurred and your case is being denied. It also says I have the right to request copies of any documents that were used in decisioning my claim. About the claims I had entered with my bank: I seem to have worded it differently... This is what I wrote for the denied claim: My auto insurance agreed to pay for this rental car. I only provided my card to them for a refundable deposit which has nothing to do with this transaction but they are billing me more. Thus, this is why I’m disputing this transaction as I should not be billed. I returned the car in perfect condition with the gas tank filled. My insurance is taking care of the payments. I'm in the market to finance a new car and have had a car loan before which I started in 2008 for 12k + interest from Carmax and I finished paying it completely a few years later but it's been deleted from all of the credit bureaus. I think it was deleted after disputing an error. I wanted it corrected but instead, they deleted it and now my credit shows no history of a car loan which could benefit me in getting the new car finance. Is there any way to get this loan to show back on my credit?

  21. This is for two family members. They have score's in the 600's but don't have open accounts. Member #1 Scores are 627 on Transunion and 667 on Equifax. No open accounts. Member #2 Scores are N/A on Transunion and 638 on Equifax. No open accounts. This person applied for Costco credit card recently and was denied mostly due to no open accounts I believe. He got a hard inquiry on both bureaus. All of their closed accounts are in good standings but there isn't much history. I, for example, have the Capital One that I got about 7 years ago to build credit. I could maybe add them to my account or try to get them to obtain their own cards. Maybe there are better cards.
  22. Hello, I had a Sears/Citibank account deleted from all 3 credit bureaus. Eventually, it reappeared under a Collectors called Midland Funding yet it's the exact account that the bureaus deleted. I tried sending them a copy of the deletion telling them it's the same account but they didn't remove it. I was wondering if you can guide me on how to solve this... I sent a letter to the collector too but you know how they are. I just don't want to be wasting my money on certified mail and notarizing for nothing. How to make sure that a deleted account doesn't reappear again once it was successfully disputed and removed from all credit reports.
