True, but since as per the OP the public record of the judgement doesn't have either the DOB or full SSN wouldn't NCAP apply? I thought that CBCInnovis, which is distinct from Innovis, didn't maintain their own database but instead only forwarded reports pulled from the selected CRA which in this case it sounds like Experian. If I'm correct on both items then something doesn't ring true since a judgement was reported that Experian wouldn't have been permitted to report. Question for the OP: how long ago did you last obtain a written copy of your credit report directly from Experian? edited: by the same token I would see if you can get a copy of your Experian-provided data from CBCInnovis as well. I wonder if they provided old data.

Unless they've changed their policy in the last 7 weeks it's a SP if you're accepting an offer made under "My Offers" on the upper right side of the main menu. If you already have that particular card it is treated as a CLI on that card and not the starting limit on a 2nd instance of the same card.

That turd has been giving me 11 Citi TYP per dollar on gas/groceries/restaurants for 8 out of the last 9 quarters. I wouldn't want Sync or Comenity to take it over either.

US Bank and Wells Fargo both have cards on the AMEX network but I thought the BoA/Fidelity CC went away when Fidelity moved over to USB/Elan. Citi also issues the non store version of Macy's and Bloomingdales cards on the AMEX network.

From what I've seen elsewhere that appears to be a common cap even to the point where people already at $99.9K would successfully apply for another card only to find that its entire starting limit was scavenged from another card leaving them at $99.9K total. I have exactly $100K across my cards but I got there with a CLI request that was deferred then manually approved. I am also Platinum Honors through a Merrill brokerage account.

I went through something similar when LexisNexis added someone else's death notice and SSN to my LN report, which triggered fraud alerts, account closures, and a letter from Citibank addressed to my estate.
