The IRS is the same way when it comes to payments. When I first started submitting payments for a family member it wanted to use a phone number to identify her but it wouldn't allow that since they had prepaid service. Now I have that problem plus an additional one. My carrier shows up as a VoIP connection so certain services won't verify me over the phone.

I'm building my credit from scratch and really the only mistake I can think of is getting a SCT card. Though I actually get use of it so it's not a really bad one. I joined NFCU right before they shut down that method of entry. Now though I don't really need a card of theirs so I just have one more bank account to deal with for now unless something changes. I hope so! Though I am not too sure since around the same time I got approved for a Discover It Miles card so I am putting like 99.99% of my spend through it to rack up the miles to get that year end match next year.

Recently I have been approved for a Discover It Miles card for $2000 and Paypal 2% cashback card for $3000. I am so pleasantly surprised with these results and probably never would have achieved this so soon if it wasn't for forums like this place.

Over the past week or so I've been approved for PayPal 2 percent cash back card and discover it miles for $3000 and $2000 respectively. At the time my 3 FICO scores were 703-706 and AAOA at 5 months. As someone who works at a call center I get at least 10 calls a day where after my greeting the customer will say "Oh thank god someone from the US", I have a friend that works there who is from the Philippines she does have an accent but she speaks English fluently and very easy to understand. Still she gets such abuse from customers just because of her accent though and has every now and again been brought to tears by them. Then I get those that will say "Finally someone that doesn't sound so ghetto" stuff like that right there dries up any goodwill I have with that person on the phone.
