  1. Thank you. I am helping her follow your steps attached. She had to run her credit for a new gas company where we moved to. Popped up right after. Like immediately Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I can’t see the sad sad scroat who smells his fingers while he types thanks to the block button. But I know he has sad life while he sits in a cold basement counting his discover cards pretending he knows stuff begging mommy for her approval. [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hahahahhaha! Took you that long to work that up . you’re sad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Dude you’re just a jerk that always has to be right. I’ve seen your posts around the boards before. Ie “Jethro” “Here on earth” I can only imagine how the people in your circle hate you behind your back, because you’re too annoying to bother to debate with. I’ll use your terminology... “Here on earth many people have been declined credit for too many inquiries. Inquiries also drop your score in points to some degree which could impact a loan interest rate.” Insignificant is in the eye of the individual seeking credit. You’ll respond with something you think is clever. I won’t respond b/c you’re not worth it - so have it ...... but hey good luck on that $5,000 discover [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Was explaining to OP that in my experience. I have 5 cards with Amex now. After original HP all consecutive pulls thereafter have been soft. While here at CB we know inquiries may be “nothing to fear” minimizing them certainly is “nothing to not celebrate” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. IMO - Get in the door with Amex. Once you open new accounts with them any additional accounts are always a soft pull. Start with a charge card, they carry an annual fee but again are great to get a foot in the door. Once you show them good history they will always treat you right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hello all, My wife had just cleaned all of her credit reports end of last year and had zero collections. Out of the blue she just got hit with a ERC collection account opened in January 2019 from an old Sprint debt from prob 2012 on her Transunion and Experian. She didn't tell me about it or ask me and went ahead on Credit Karma and disputed it but Transunion says it was verified as accurate. Thats impossible and I know they cant take an old debt and now make it stick to her credit file for 7 years now. What is the best way to proceed with Whychat's method, now that she did the Credit Karma dispute? I went ahead and opted her out. What should I do next? Thanks!
  10. Thank you. This link is very helpful. “winteriscomimg” GOT? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi everyone, First let me say how much I appreciate the forums. They have helped me tremendously. I’m almost at the end of my repair journey and EQ (go figure) is being a stickler about removing 4 medical collections. The last step I did was sent them “whychat” dispute letter and they didn’t delete and added this remark “ Consumer disputes this account information, Medical” They’re from 2012 and I’d like to not have to wait till 2019 to fall off. Any help on next steps is greatly appreciated. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The regular 5 year opt out is fine- If you have occassion to go to a CRA website for any reason, make sure you opt out again when you are done. The Lexis Nexis report is only needed if you are the victim of ID theft/fraud or if you have a VERY common name. You will not usually even have a LN report unless you have applied for life insurance. Hi Why Chat - I can't find the reason for the opt-out prior to disputing medical collections. Can you direct me? Also I have a few leftover that Ive disputed with EQ that they've commented 'Consumer disputes this account information, Medical' Whats my next step? Thanks for your assistance.
  13. I would like the application as well. Would you please PM me? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Question : in the dispute letter to the CRA do you list the collection agency or the medical provider ? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Do you dispute to CRA the collection agency on the report or whom it says is the medical provider? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
