  1. Some time they do auto luv most of the time u have to hit the luv button yourself. Will it be a hard pull for every CLI request?
  2. As my mother always said, "can't tell if she's bragging or complaining"
  3. I had my EQ frozen because it was my worst score and I was in the middle of repairing it too. NFCU wouldn't finish processing my cloc application without reviewing EQ. Had to unfreeze it and was denied the cloc. So they pulled EQ for you for the CLOC? Well, I can always try. If denied, do you happen to know how long the "hard pull" is good for? I applied for the credit card first. A week later I applied for the cloc. The rep in the branch told me they use the same pull for 30 days - this was UNTRUE in my experience. I had a pull for the credit card - approved. Another pull for the cloc

  5. Is there a maximum transfer amount from an external account? According to chat this morning, yes - there is a $250 max from an external account which seems to cause posting delays. (See bold & underlined) Also, I have made cash deposits to checking and savings account and I have made cash payments on my credit card in a branch and it still did not post until midnight. Anywhere else, cash is usually immediately credited and available. I'd say NFCU is slow to post all-around. I still like them though Ashley: Thank you for contacting Navy Federal. My name is Ashley. How may I as
  6. FHA cuts insurance premiums on mortgages, saving average borrower hundreds. http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-fha-lowers-mortgage-premiums-0110-20170109-story.html I believe your point still stands, but I thought you'd be interested in this change.
  7. Well, here's this: Joining Navy Federal Credit Union Without Military Affiliation by Harry Sit on January 10, 2017 https://thefinancebuff.com/navy-federal-credit-union-no-military.html
  8. Sounds like he works for the company, especially since they're his only two posts. It's written like a friendly sales pitch.
  9. I'm very interested to see how this goes for you! I'm in a very similar situation.
  10. I believe the minimum CLOC is $500 They approved me for $12900 credit card, but would not give me the $500 CLOC.
  11. That scares me. Citi was my largest charge-off. They report my charge-off like clock-work every month (which all of my credit report monitors alert me to by saying an account is late). It's beyond the SOL though so hopefully they won't try to come after me for it now.
  12. I thought if you disputed them online as "not responsible for account" they'd be removed without issue. At least that's what I've read here several times.
  13. I have tried to do this too. They've all said they'll take my money (of course) but that I'll have to reapply for a new account. No one I've talked to will reopen a closed account. (BofA, Chase, Discover, Citi, Target)
  14. I called to check on my membership application a few days after applying. The very nice guy who helped me had my application pushed through and gave me all my login info while I was on the phone. So (to anyone) I suggest calling - they're very helpful.
